“A nicely located pub just in the heart of Prospect Park. The place has plenty of free parking (don’t forget to register at check in). The menu is quite ‘suculent’ with lots of options and nicely cooked food (not a fish ‘n’ chip bar). The view is great over the park with a quiet ambiance. You can have salad as much as you like which is a vegan’s paradise. Waiting time for taking the order is a bit long but quite polite so doesn’t feel rushed in any way. Book and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner with family, friends or just on your own.”

“Fantastic experience stopping in for lunch. The OXBO burger was probably the best burger I have eaten recently, the addition of rarebit made for a delicious twist on a conventional cheese burger. Highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff were attentive, but not intrusively so. I felt looked after. The cafe has a lovely calm atmosphere, but not boringly so. There were a few customers in giving it a good vibe, but without being hectic - I didn't wait long for service or for my food to arrive. It would be an ideal place for someone looking to have a working lunch, and there are spaces set out with power outlets for those with busy working schedules. Very conveniently located a few minutes away from Green Park, making for a nice change to eating in the company cafe if you are working nearby.”

“We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. The food is outstanding, it's not licensed, so you can take your own, (or buy it from the store next door) The service, again was great with good advice from the team, definitely worth a visit. The Wednesday night banquet is great value, but you've got to book early and because the portions are generous we had some food to take away as well. Perfect.”

The service is amazing, all polite, efficient and the owner of the restaurant is always on hand and thanks us as we leave. The drinks are a little pricer than I would like but that is the same no matter where you go and the pudding options are very limited (although I'm usually stuffed before getting to them) but overall, a brilliant place.”

“Took my favourite summer rolls as a starter, they were fantastic. Rich taste of peanut sauce perfectly combined with mild taste of the prawns. Delicious! As a main I had steak pho, it was yummy. I was really happy with generous amount of well done steak. Noodles were cooked perfectly, they were not overdone and melted in my mouth. I would also like to mention Margherita, who was really friendly and helpful, she even helped me to charge my phone. Great service! Thank you guys.”

We went with a salmon sushi platter which didn't disappointed; a couple of chicken ramen and a chicken katsudon - all were simply great. Their homemade chilli oil is exceptional and should be used sparingly! Nice team. Go support.”
