“A real gem of a shop. Popped in just to see what they sold, found they sold everything on my shopping list that I thought I'd need to buy online. From peppercorns and prunes to Booja Booja chocolate. I then found the cafe / takeaway and purchased 2 made to specifics teas, and some lovely cakes to go with. Especially the G.F D.F Raw Cakes !! O.M.G possibly the best of their kind I've yet encountered, I bought one o f each, one was Passionfruit ,one Mango, one Chocolate, I've eaten 2, the chocolate is for tomorrow, absolutely heavenly.”

“One of the best refillable shops I've ever been to! Incredibly friendly staff and an astonishing range of products (even recycle plates and cups for picnics!!). You can also have coffee and cake in, with a lot of gluten free options and a fair selection of vegan goodies. The produce was fantastic, and they will refill any receptacle you have, however random! Also, excellent prices. Brilliant way to do your bit in cutting down on plastic waste in a welcoming environment.”

“For me this is the best guitar shop in the UK without a doubt. They stock quite an unbelievable array of vintage and new instruments. Not only did I see some of the rarest and coolest guitars I've seen in my life, they also made me a cup of tea! Great to trade with, easy to buy from and very relaxed. It has a fantastic atmosphere. “My second visit whilst visiting Bristol from Newport. This place is epic, some items could be a bit cheaper but it's absolutely brilliant and sells everything! Items like rare Brut Musk deodorant to great blackout curtains and tea sets. It's neat and tidy and just had a simple, old school feel to it, still haven't fully explored it, looking forward to my next visit. Cafe looks simple yet decent, turning over nicely (11:30am ish).”

“I recently broke down at Budgens Shell petrol station in Box and I was so impressed by how helpful the staff were. They helped to push my car (that wouldn't start) into a safe place so I could call the recovery team. Such a friendly and supportive group of people and the manager was also very understanding when the recovery van took much longer than expected. Thank you!”

“Well-stocked, friendly and having shopped at numerous M&S’s, they were the first to have a proper look through my Sparks Card offers to see if there was anyway I could save money - which was very generous. Staff in the food hall were also very nice, checking when stock was coming in etc.”

The night shift though including the security guard really let the store down. Perhaps the morning shift teams can teach the night shift teams customer service skills?”

I have noticed a couple of bad reviews, you cannot expect staff to stick your parcels for you and they also have a sign saying, please don’t pull the labelling machine hard, when people do, they have a go at the staff. Please be as polite to them as they are to us”

“After having contacted James and asking him several questions which he answered thoroughly, we decided to go for the Tandooriq XL. Having ordered it on the Thursday it was here by the Tuesday and when I unwrapped it found it to be in perfect condition. I spoke to James several more times asking his advise and he was always more than happy to help. Although we haven't yet used the XL at a catering event as intended, we have been practising with it and are chuffed to bits with the result. I found it first time round tricky to light but now use small kindling blocks just to keep it going long enough for the charcoal burn. Once it's up and running though it lasts hours. Our first outing we had it going for 8hrs. We've cooked chicken, pork, pigs cheek, beef, veg skewers and naans on it. And they all taste great. I highly recommend a Tandoor to anyone from Tandooriq. And the customer service was exceptional. Couldn't ask for anymore.”
