“Alicia couldn’t have been more helpful - armed with tape measure, wholly well informed about the products and really responsive throughout the transaction. I have never enjoyed buying a sofa more!”
“We had a really great experience using Perfect Space Carpentry and we're so happy with the result. We were looking for storage solutions for our fireplace, so we enquired with the team and they were really helpful throughout – showing us mockups, giving us lots of choice and even showing us round the workshop. It really felt like they cared about the work, even though it was quite a small job. Would certainly recommend Cady and his team for any bespoke carpentry needs. Many thanks!”
“Sean laid our hard flooring in the house and did a great job especially as our walls are by no means straight. He is very diligent and hard working plus always available to offer any advice regarding choice of flooring. I would definitely book Sean again for future flooring requirements.”
“HomeCharmer is a true hidden gem for anyone tackling DIY projects. This family-run shop offers not just quality products but outstanding, personal service that you won’t find in the big chains. The team is friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help — whether you’re an experienced handyman or just starting out. What really stands out is their commitment to their customers. If they don’t stock what you’re looking for, they’ll go out of their way to source it for you. That kind of dedication is rare and shows how much they care about getting things right. With a well-chosen range of tools, supplies, and expert advice, HomeCharmer isn’t just a shop — it’s a part of the community. If you want great service, honest guidance, and a business that goes the extra mile, HomeCharmer is the place to go”
“Our Choir booked out some rooms for rehearsals over a weekend, and we had a great time in the spaces provided. The staff was incredibly kind, and even provided tea and coffee for those attending. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for hireable spaces in Bath.”

“I went in for a browse at the new collection today with my shy dog and the staff couldn’t have been kinder, offering him water and a treat and then talking me through the Toast Circle concept. Beautiful pieces and store as always. Thank you ☺️”
“I called Ellie having passed the Store on a Sunday whilst it was closed. The item in the window I was interested in purchasing wasn't available online so I asked several questions and she very kindly arranged with Vanessa to send me an email with photographs and information. I have since purchased the items and I am awaiting delivery. This Store deserves to do well as the staff appear to offer excellent service. Well done Ellie and Vanessa”
“Amazing workmanship and transformation of my 2 sofas, efficient and professional service from start to finish, would highly recommend.”
“Have used Screwfix extensively over the last couple of years. Good deals and good hours.”
“Steve recently completed a full bathroom renovation for us and we could not be happier. We’ve used Steve’s services for many years now and never been less than satisfied with any job he has done for us. Steve is an expert at what he does and will always give you honest guidance and advice on the best way to use your space. He’s reliable, trustworthy, friendly and always on time. Cannot recommend more highly and definitely worthy of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks Steve. Lisa and Ant.”
“I absolutely loved it , great staff and some fun products .”
“Very friendly and helpful. Someone to talk to if you have a query. Quick delivery, at a very reasonable cost. Quite happy to pay to get next day delivery. Ordered fridge at lunchtime and it arrived the next morning. Well done! Great service.”
“We booked a wine tasting at the Majestic pn Bath Rd and Massi was our sommelier for the evening. He was really knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He put us at ease and answered all of our questions, not matter how basic they were. I described the types of wine I liked over the phone before arriving and he picked us a perfect selection. Despite another member of staff being off sick, Massi handled all the customers inc us well and we came away very happy. The store front is a bit rundown but there is a bus stop right outside which is ideal.”
“Nice shop with an impressive range of kitchen and dining ware. Staff are friendly and helpful.”
“amazing pizza, better service. The workers are stupendous and hard workers who are kind and generous. The pizza also tastes great and reminds me of my childhood”
“Amazing customer service from Mandy in Bath yesterday! Very knowledgeable of the local area and also the store itself. Mandy took the time to also change my details in store, which I had been told previously, wasn't possible. Mandy was attentive and friendly and made the whole shopping experience a delight!”
“We’re totally in love with our new kitchen and Mike at the Bath branch made everything very easy from start to finish. Our fitter Max was incredible too and ensured everything was flawless and done to the highest possible standard.”

“Posting reviews is not a habit for me but, just occasionally, it seems necessary. I have just seen a negative comment about Dexter's here, which deserves to be highlighted because it is really so wrong. Dexter's is a fine coffee shop, with a dedicated owner, loyal staff, and many regular and satisfied customers like me. The negative comment is really destructive. The writer, shining her London coffee credentials in truly pompous fashion, weighs in on the owner, the quality of the coffee, the uniqueness of her terrible experience compared to the normal welcome she experiences elsewhere, and ends by telling us all to avoid at all costs. So, first to correct the narrative. Dexter's, in five years of trading in this part of Bath, has brought a community to life. It is a meeting point and a place for conversation, a place where good things in life are celebrated, and not so good things are comforted. The coffee is sourced from a reputable local roastery, Extract and the owner knows precisely what her clientele need, which is really good coffee and light snacks, delivered consistently in a great atmosphere. But she is balancing a complex community; the shop is welcoming to owners and dogs, walkers and cyclists, people working and meeting. To keep all of us happy, and her business running, she has to be a manager and a diplomat. She does it brilliantly. Sometimes, people do push things a bit. Cyclists, like me, might lay a bike across the window; or someone may bring their lunch from somewhere else and spread it out for an hour whilst working and drinking one coffee. All without asking. Luckily such things are rare, and nearly always no offence was ever intended, but it is necessary to point out a problem, put it right and carry on. But of course there is always a reviewer out there who, if crossed, feels the power to write a review which slams not one thing, but everything about an establishment. And in doing so, the reviewer shows herself to be a righteously indignant huffer and puffer. Dexter's is great, so is the coffee and the company. Do not avoid. Unless that is, you are one of those negative reviewers who delights in trying to destroy small and valuable businesses. By all means please, you, stay away. See you at Dexter's everyone else!!”
“A hidden gem in Bath while browsing the beautiful Neptune. The coffee is great, as is the tea — served in lovely china. All the cakes look fabulous, especially the house-made shortbread. The food menu is always seasonal and smells incredible — I definitely need to come back for lunch soon. The team are also lovely. Would highly recommend!”
“I really liked this place. The coffee was good, flat white as usual but impressed me most was the sourdough toast, best I've had for quite a while, loose butter not fiddly little packs and more than enough for the 4 half slices. Check out the full menu which are brunchy. Polite service with a smile.”
“I bought some absolutely gorgeous Cornishware teacups and saucers - the quality, of course, was fantastic & my order arrived really speedily & well packaged too. Thank you!”
“For me this is the best guitar shop in the UK without a doubt. They stock quite an unbelievable array of vintage and new instruments. Not only did I see some of the rarest and coolest guitars I've seen in my life, they also made me a cup of tea! Great to trade with, easy to buy from and very relaxed. It has a fantastic atmosphere. Very highly recommended.”
“The staff were very helpful in this store. Customer service assistant called Abbie was extremely helpful in choosing a sofa for our new place. Showed us all the available fabrics, sizes, styles etc. Ended up purchasing online, but it was great to see it in the store first and I was grateful for her time.”
“My second visit whilst visiting Bristol from Newport. This place is epic, some items could be a bit cheaper but it's absolutely brilliant and sells everything! Items like rare Brut Musk deodorant to great blackout curtains and tea sets. It's neat and tidy and just had a simple, old school feel to it, still haven't fully explored it, looking forward to my next visit. Cafe looks simple yet decent, turning over nicely (11:30am ish).”
“Had a lovely experience in store today. Found the perfect print but we weren’t able to take it with us, we were helped by a really lovely lady who gave us multiple options to get our perfect print home. Would definitely recommend a visit!”
