“My partner and I stumbled upon the Brunel Raj on a Tuesday evening during our visit to Clifton. We both agreed that it was one of the best Indian meals we have had in a long while. The staff were courteous and attentive. It was a great find and we would throughly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”

“Ordered the Meat Thali and Biriyani – both were delicious. The meat curry was especially flavorful❤️. Loved the sides like aviyal, pumpkin elissery. Great taste and good service overall!The Biriyani had a pleasant aroma and was well-spiced without being overpowering. The portion size was generous, and the rice was fluffy and well-cooked. Serving and hospitality were also commendable, making the experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend it for those looking to enjoy a wholesome, traditional South Indian meal❤️.”

“After having contacted James and asking him several questions which he answered thoroughly, we decided to go for the Tandooriq XL. Having ordered it on the Thursday it was here by the Tuesday and when I unwrapped it found it to be in perfect condition. I spoke to James several more times asking his advise and he was always more than happy to help. Although we haven't yet used the XL at a catering event as intended, we have been practising with it and are chuffed to bits with the result. I found it first time round tricky to light but now use small kindling blocks just to keep it going long enough for the charcoal burn. Once it's up and running though it lasts hours. Our first outing we had it going for 8hrs. We've cooked chicken, pork, pigs cheek, beef, veg skewers and naans on it. And they all taste great. I highly recommend a Tandoor to anyone from Tandooriq. And the customer service was exceptional. Couldn't ask for anymore.”

“This restaurant is in a tucked away location & you could almost miss it. However the owner is very welcoming & attentive & the choice of traditional curries is excellent. Don't be put off by the slightly tired decor the owner & food make up for it in spades. Highly recommended curry house & nicely priced. Loved it thank you for a fabulous meal!”

Mixed starter very nice fresh and tasty, my Chicken madras was 5 star, naan popadoms excellent just a really nice tasty hot food experience really recommend.”

“I visited there with a friend for a dine in on a weekend evening. Clean environment and not noisy to have a good conversation. Food came out in about 15 minutes after putting our orders in. Server was great and attentive. House lamb Biryani was great. Overall would visit again.”

“Really impressed with this place, food was delicious and you can’t fault the portion sizes. The vurger was a pretty solid veggy burger and the pork fillet was spot on. At a push I’d say the burger could have done with a bit less relish but that might be personal preference. We came at the end of service so can’t say much about the atmosphere but the decor was comfortable and staff were attentive. Looking forward to coming back and trying the cocktails.”

“We came in on a Tuesday evening, it was very quiet which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a bhuna and Rogan Josh and both curries were delicious. We sat in the conservatory area at the front which was lovely. All served on piping in hot plates which is always a nice touch. Great Value for Money! 100% would recommend!”

“Breakfast - £9.99 for self-serve all you can eat and kids eat free. What's not to like? Ate here Saturday 8th April. The food was good, especially for a breakfast buffet. Decent quality with a good, herby taste to the sausage. All.of the food was hot, and even the scrambled eggs were decently cooked - hard to do when they have to stay under the lights. Good selection at the continental section or crumpets, oven-bottom muffins, bread, American pancakes, blueberry muffins / cup cakes, croissants, pain-aux-chocolat. The pastries were nicely flaky.and tasted good. Plenty of choice for cereals and fruits, including fruit salad or fresh whole fruits. Tea, including speciality teas and a bean-to-cup coffee machine all.included in the price. The place was clean, and the staff friendly. Plenty of people seemed to be enjoying their breakfast although it wasn't packed. Definitely worth a visit.”
