“Absolutely superb all round. The pub is full of character and warmth, with a beautiful garden and amazing countryside views. The menu is simple, refined, and consistently excellent. And Felix was outstanding. Friendly, professional and attentive without being intrusive … truly memorable service in a wonderful setting.”
“The most amazing vegan food and the loveliest service! Our two visits here were the highlight of our trip to Bath. The carrot salmon toast was absolutely out of this world - so good we came back again the next day to have it again.”
“Had an amazing breakfast bagel here ,it was delicious and possibly the best I've ever had. Generous size and really filling. Highly recommend the short walk from centre . Flat white was also delicious and I'm fussy with my coffee .”
“Stayed her with the girlfriend for four days whilst we explored Bath and surrounding area. Mainly chose it because it was one the the few B&B's that offered a destination charger which we booked for the first and last night of our stay. Very convenient and meant we didn't need to rely on public chargers while in Bath. Rooms was very nice, breakfast was good with a choice of continental, cooked, or salmon/egg choices. Overall very happy and would definitely stay again.”
“I booked a private party for my wedding here. They happily accommodated 30 people, and we could have had up to 60. The appetizers they selected for us were all delicious and accommodated diet restrictions as well. Highly recommend for parties, meals, or a quick drink or coffee with some of the friendliest faces around!!”
“Incredible food & service! Will definitely be back. The fresh cheese, leeks & walnut starter was the highlight for me. Their red wine made in house was delicious. Will be returning for sure.”
“This is our local & we stopped going here due to the previous landlord. Today we were welcomed with a huge smile and warmth by the new landlord, Kelly. Absolutely brilliant pizza menu and wonderful service. So pleased to have a local well enjoy going to again!”
“If you ever wanted to explore bath and have a great room and an incredible breakfast, this is your place. We walked to town, which is about a mile away, although you can get a cab if you want. There's so much to explore the Roman baths and a real life Roman bath set up called "THERMAE" for you to have all the amenities that the Romans would've enjoyed.”
“The Little Coffee Shop is a hidden gem that immediately captured our hearts. From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by the sweetest barista, a lovely lady with soft grey hair and a genuinely kind demeanor. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel so comfortable, even as rain poured down outside. She took the time to chat with us, making sure our orders were perfect and adding that special personal touch that makes all the difference in a café experience. My mum decided on an English tea and an almond croissant, which she absolutely loved! The tea was perfectly steeped, served hot, and had that classic flavor she enjoys so much, complementing the almond croissant beautifully. The croissant was exceptional—flaky on the outside, soft and moist on the inside, with just the right amount of almond filling. The flavors were rich yet balanced, not overly sweet, making each bite truly delightful. It was clear that quality ingredients and craftsmanship went into creating this pastry. As for me, I chose a chocolate milkshake and a chocolate muffin, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The milkshake was smooth, creamy, and wonderfully "milky," with a classic chocolate flavor that wasn’t overly sugary. It felt indulgent without being heavy, making it a refreshing yet satisfying treat. The chocolate muffin was just as delightful, moist and rich with a generous amount of chocolate. Both the muffin and milkshake hit the spot and made for a deliciously indulgent pairing. The café itself is small but incredibly charming, decorated with thoughtful touches that create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Despite the rain, which meant we couldn't enjoy the outdoor seating, the indoor setting was cozy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing with a warm drink and good company. The outdoor seating area looked lovely, though, and I can only imagine how wonderful it would be in the warmer months to sit outside, enjoying the ambiance and perhaps some sunshine. All in all, The Little Coffee Shop is a delightful spot that we’d highly recommend. With delicious food, comforting drinks, a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely friendly service, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great café experience. We’ll definitely be coming back for more.”
“We have just enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Leighton House Hotel. The room was brilliant (15), the staff very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent both days. The walk into the city centre was easy and only 10-15 minutes. Coming back is definitely a taxi ride. But we would thoroughly recommend staying in this beautiful and well appointed hotel”
“Great food with friendly service. I had the chicken on French fries. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the toppings were fresh. Great deal for the price.”
“The staff and facilities are all aligned to exceed expectations and it delivers. The listing states its a Bed & Breakfast. However, it performs like a 5 star hotel without the price tag. Book with confidence, this place is seriously good. The only thing I did not like, was having to leave.”
“Popped in with friends for lunch. Great choice of hot sandwiches with a meal deal and a nice selection of cakes. We sat outside in a shaded area with a nice through breeze.”
“Great take away! Really friendly staff and food was excellent. Ordered a variety of food and would definitely go back. Menu has loads of options from the classics to more unique.”
“Afternoon tea was delicious and the gluten free options were perfect. Lively music gave a different feel and the gardens looked well kept and would look stunning at the right time of year.”
“Lovely set of cottages everything you need in the week and a SPA convenience store 3 minutes away”
“We had our company Christmas meal here. The Xmas menu was great and the food amazing. Ashley and Freya were fantastic and looked after us all evening. Fantastic value for money.”
“Homewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldn’t praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! “An Absolutely Perfect Wedding Day at The Crown at Kelston! We recently had the immense pleasure of celebrating our wedding at The Crown at Kelston, and we can genuinely say it was the most perfect day imaginable, largely thanks to the incredible team there. From our very first contact, we dealt with Neve, who was absolutely brilliant. Neve made the planning process seamless and stress-free. In the lead-up to the wedding, everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely didn't have to think about a single thing on the day itself – a true gift for any couple! Neve even coordinated directly with our florist, two musicians, the stretch tent company, and our cake supplier on the morning of the wedding, ensuring all suppliers were perfectly in sync without us lifting a finger. Whatever our request, big or small, nothing was ever an issue for Neve and the team. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond. On the day of the wedding, the staff worked effortlessly from start to finish. Their attentiveness, efficiency, and friendly demeanour were remarkable, ensuring all our guests were well looked after and the celebration flowed beautifully. And we must mention, the food was absolutely amazing – a real highlight that all our guests raved about! The atmosphere was exactly what we dreamed of, and every detail was handled with precision and care. We cannot recommend The Crown highly enough for any event, especially a wedding. If you're looking for a venue where you can relax and truly enjoy your special day, knowing everything is in expert hands, look no further! A huge thank you to Neve/Theo and all the staff for making our wedding day so incredibly memorable and perfect!”
“Really great venue, such a unique space. Huge room with dramatic sky light. Nowhere else like it in Bath. Coffee & juices excellent. Enjoyed my bacon bap with great hash browns. Young staff but very much on the ball. Recommended.”
“Enjoyed a work Christmas lunch. Great food and service. We had sharing platters for starters and mains, everything was incredibly tasty (the beef was a little on the rare side for me though).”
“We had a wonderful 2 night stay at your hotel. Hotel was great, staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Location was great. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive which every bus went into city centre. Thank you to all the staff.”
“6/5 All. Day. Long! Royal treatment from arrival to departure. It’s the little things - name placard on door, beautifully presented gifts on the bed, warm welcomes from every single staff member, gorgeous grounds and perfect cocktails and a lovely breakfast made this stay absolutely incredible. Walk everywhere (ok … downhill - but then just Uber up!) I felt bathed in luxury the entire time I was there. Large, well appointed rooms. Luxurious bed and bedding! And, very serene. Go live your own Bridgerton moment! You deserve it.”
“Found by accident but so happy we did! Perfect chai for a hot day teamed with a flaky well stuffed samosa! Also had a wrap which was delicious. Really great value for money and really tasty food! Definitely worth a visit! Note there is no seating but there are parks and benches near by!”
“The service was great! Had lovely conversation with the chef who is from Barcelona, and the service staff who is also Spanish! We ordered the steak paella and it was delightful! Full of flavours of the beef and various spices that unfold as you bite into the rice! The rice was nice and crisp and flavourful till the last bite! You can tell that the chef loves to cook and he checked in on us a lot! The croquette was really crispy and rich. The octopus was a nice complexity of flavour. From the sweetness of the octopus, to the punch of garlic sauce and the earthiness of the mash! A great combination altogether! The atmosphere was really nice! Fit for a cosy intimate wedding”
“Very tasty. Lovely fish. Not greasy. Light batter. Im very fussy about my fish and chips and I had no complaints at all.”
“Authentic family run Thai restaurant. Great value, quality food and service was great. Shout out to the young gentleman who served us. Impeccably polite, service with a smile.”
“Food was delicious and the gentleman helping us was very accommodating despite the odd hour we stopped by. I was so happy with the taste. The naan was amazing! If you are in Bath definitely stop by!”
“Friendly staff. The set menu is pretty good. Steak was not bad and the sides were top notch. The jus/gravy was to die for. House wine with the set menu was excellent, well chosen whoever was responsible. Quick service.”
“We had two cappuccino and one lemon cake here. Coffee was really good however lemon cake was old and taste like fridge. Hope you understand what I meant. It tasted like they’ve put it into the fridge without covering it with anything.”
