“We stayed there for one night with our 2,5 years old son. The access was easy and the room very clean as well as the communal areas. The location was good since we managed to park nearby and walk to the centre.”

“Brilliant weekend here. Stayed in a shepherds hut which was extremely comfortable with lots of those little extras that make it extra special. My only regret was the weather was too warm to light the stove in the hut! Owners very friendly and accommodating, couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again, may try a yurt next time.”

“Lyn and Franky's property is a great place to stay, if you're visiting Cheddar, and the wider region around Somerset and North Devon. The guest house is a really decent size for 2 people, is well laid out and has all the amenities you would expect. The property is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cheddar, as well as a range of pubs and restaurants. Lyn provided great recommendations for places to visit and where to go for dinner. In the morning you're served a homemade breakfast using ingredients from the surrounding farms and local shops. Highly recommended!”

“It was very nice place to have a break but it wasn't great for us to going upstairs and down again, also slippery floor a special in shover room so we ask for mat and was delivered to us immediately. Egypt Mill restaurant very handy and served fantastic food, never been problem with parking witch was so good.”

“Really enjoyable stay in this wonderful and cosy cottage. Location is great. Being up on Birch Hill has wonderful view of the Gorge. And walking distance access to Cheddar town with all the attractions and good base for walks and excursions around the Gorge and Caves. The owners are very friendly couple and they have a garden at the back with very diverse plantation.”

“Absolutely fantastic, it's situated on a working farm, but you don't hear anything, the scenery is amazing and breathtaking, the converted barn is on par with a 5 star hotel. It is a spacious barn with a modern bathroom with a walk in shower, and you have a wonderful sleeping area the king-size bed is really comfortable, a country farm kitchen very modern with a fridge freezer. A little mobile hob, so you can cook. They will clean and replace your towels as often as you like. It is pristine, I'm OCD and extremely content with the service they provided. I suggest that if you want to have a vacation there, phone them direct they are very accommodating and will talk through the covid situation. I will point out that you will drive down country lanes to get there, and they are not busy lanes very quiet, but very picturesque. It's worth the drive to sleep in peace and quiet and not being over looked and breathe in the fresh air.”

“Oh my goodness what a fabulous place. We had our hen weekend at this amazing property and all our guesrs were suitably impressed. The luxury shines through and there is everything here you could wish for. A great party house for larger gatherings that will accommodate your needs. Lovely garden with hot tub that is secluded and private. Far reaching veiws but house still has a homely feel. Would definitely recommend and owner is a perfect host with nothing too much trouble. Do rent this property you will not be disappointed.”

“Excellent B&B! Katherine was so lovely and accommodating. The room was very clean and had many thoughtful amenties including an electric kettle and tea. Breakfast is tasty with a wonderful variety of options to choose from. The B&B is a short walk from the train station and city center. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Bath.”

“Pleasently surprised how beautiful this apartment is. It felt very much like home from home. The apartment is very well situated close to the city, only a 10 minute stroll to the Pulteney Bridge with a beautiful walk through Henrietta Park on the way. The food/welcome pack was a lovely treat. The bread was amazing! Alison managed to sort early check in for us despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend. If you want a great safe place to stay that is situated close to Bath city centre, I can't recommend Herschel Place enough. We will definitely visit again!”

“I was recommended The Moda House by a friend who stays there regularly when on business in the area. What a recommendation it was. Truly a Five Star establishment. Architecturally a lovely building and beautifully furnished. The reception from Jo and her husband Duncan could not have been warmer and their obvious love for the house and their guests was plain to see. The room I was given, Room One, was elegant and very well furnished. The bed must bear special mention as it was probably the most comfortable I have slept in for many a year. The same can be said about the fabulous pillows. Maybe a small point but one which can mean the difference between an excellent night’s sleep and not. The en-suite was again superb and the shower in the morning was the perfect way to start the day. Powerful might be a slight underestimation! Down for breakfast in the morning and the room was an absolute delight. It would certainly be my study if it were my own private house. The centrepiece is the table. Totally stunning and unique. Jo and Duncan have provided a short history of the table which is definitely worth reading. I had the cooked breakfast which was excellent and the coffee was also superb. All in all a truly Five Star experience, my only regret was that I would only be there for one evening but the next time I am in the area it will be the place I choose to stay. Whilst not strictly part of this review, mention should, I feel, be made of the ease of finding places to eat and drink whilst staying at The Moda. It is centrally situated and as the information folder in the room tells you there is no shortage of establishments for an evening meal/drink. Immediately opposite is The Horseshoe, a pub which has gathered many awards for the quality of its seven real ales. Not difficult to see why. Whilst there are several restaurants catering for many different tastes I had been recommended by my friend to try the Tudor Raj. A worthy recommendation serving very, very good Indian food. Thank you again Jo and Duncan for a wonderfully memorable stay.”

“Had a great time staying here! The owner, Sharon and Glyn, were super welcoming right from when I arrived and made me feel right at home. The room was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, and equipped with good WiFi. Even though it's on a main road, the room was surprisingly quiet. The whole place was clean and tidy, and I loved having the dining area with a microwave, kettle, and fridge to use. Breakfast was simple but good with cereals, bread, tea, coffee, and juice available. All in all, a really comfy and hassle-free stay. Would definitely recommend!”

“2nd stay at midland way, it is such a nice place felt like my own little flat, very welcoming and modern had all the kitchen bits n bobs that I needed. It was very clean. Location is good in terms of plenty of food shops and close to the high street. It can get a busy noisy from the main road but that didn’t bother me to much. Just kept the window shut most of the time. Will definitely be using this place again and definitely recommend. It’s my new go to stay when I come up to Bristol.”
