βVery strange, staying in a cemetery.β
βWe recently stayed at your hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The next morning, we happily set off on our journey, but a few hours later we received a phone call from the hotel informing us that our jewellery box had been left in the room. Inside were my gold and pearl necklaces and other valuable items. Thanks to the honesty and professionalism of your staff β especially the housekeeping team β everything was kept safe and returned to us exactly as we left it, even after a month. We are truly impressed by the integrity, kindness, and excellent service we experienced. Please extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, and a special appreciation to the room cleaner who found and secured our belongings. This level of honesty and care is rare, and it will always be remembered. We will definitely recommend your hotel to our friends and family, and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. Karadeniz Familyβ
βA great place to stay! This property is located just a 10β15 minute walk from the city center, making it very convenient. The stay was hassle-free, no landlord disturbances and no issues with late check-in. Overall, itβs a comfortable and pleasant place in a nice location. There's a good pub with food located just behind the house β a great spot for a couple or singles.β
βPerfect place to stay when visiting friends gor the weekend. We even found the quick route to it without using the motorway. Soft comfortable beds, I had a wonderful night's sleep.β
βVery nice complex with secure parking the apartments are nice, clean, well maintained and cosy, no lifts thoughβ
βPerfect if you have an early flight out of Bristol airport. Nothing fancy in the cabin, great location. Pub / food 5 min walk away. 3 miles from the airport.β
βWe returned to the Tythings after a long break only to find it just as nice as before. The food was excellent, the service first class, great atmosphere too. We met up with several friends with kids and everyone enjoyed their food too, including little fussy eaters. There's plenty of room for kids to run around without bumping into people. I even made a new friend in the queue to the bar! A great pub.β
βWeather could have been nicer but the hot tub was lovely, tip once it gets to 38c, don't put more wood innβ
βWe stayed in Your Apartment Clifton Village on our visit to Bristol. The place was very easy to find and the instructions to check-in were very straightforward. We appreciated the decor and the overall design and feel of the room we stayed in. The location is also very good as there is a Tesco close by and if you walk a little bit more there is also a coop nearby. For short-term stays i highly recommend Your Apartment but for long-term i don't think I can as their laundry machine and drying machine were not the best. It took us a whole day just to wash and dry a small batch of clothes.β
βBrilliant location, straight into services and back onto M4 Eastbound. Rooms, especially carpet is worn. But the room was clean.β
βSometimes you feel compelled to write a review. We had a last minute stay in Bath and were looking for an affordable, decent hotel close to bath but not in the centre. We found it with the Wentworth House Hotel. From the free parking, late-ish (arrived in darkness) welcome after a long drive and some good directions to our forward destination we knew we'd chosen well. Yes, there are some low star reviews for this establishment but I wonder if they picked the wrong hotel. If you're looking for swish, silver service with mints on your pillow and uniformed staff - keep looking. If you're looking for a clean, good, honest 'head down tummy full' stay, they this is perfect. Which brings me on to the breakfast - splendid stuff. Freshly cooked (they asked what time we'd be sitting down for it so it could be timed perfectly), it was hot, tasty and plentiful. And oh my, that sausage... So in list form and to conclude - free parking, lovely building, well kept facilities, a bar, good size room (with toiletries), a fabulous view, friendly welcome, excellent breakfast and just 15 minutes walk to the centre of Bath. (Take the bus back - a tip from another review and well worth doing - it's a long hill after a big meal). Thank you WHH - we'll be back.β
βHonestly don't understand all the negative reviews. You get what you pay for. The place is a bit outdated, but it's cheap and cheerful, clean and safe. It's a roof over your head for the night! We have absolutely no complaints. The staff were lovely to us and were happy to help, always had a smile when we saw them. Room was clean, tidy, fresh bedding and it was exactly what it says on the tin. Shared bathroom opposite the room but for the cheap price I think some people need to get a grip. Coffee and tea with biscuits provided, location is good and honestly didn't have any issues at all. Would definitely return for a no-frills, one night stop over.β
βHad a great stay here, the location was amazing and the staff are really friendly. Room was small but clean/comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but what do you expect from a grade ll listed Georgian building! Be aware bath has a large seagull population and you will here there wherever you are. We found them hilarious as they sounded like they were all chatting with even names one Steven!β
