βSpacious and well presented accommodation. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.β
βA warm welcome awaits you here. With well kept rooms and a nice choice of breakfast to eat in you room. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, we will definitely return soon. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. Only a short walk into the city centre.β
βThis is a big pub with a large dining area and also some hotel rooms. It grew on us. There's nice outdoor seating for the sunny weather and good quality ales. Service is excellent and the place is clean. We first visited just for a quick pint. We went back the next day for a meal. There's limited vegetarian options but the aubergine dish we had was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We were very impressed with the food, and with the decor in the more modern areas. The building has a fascinating history, which is worth reading about. All in all, I strongly recommend a visit here.β
βPopped in for dinner Saturday just gone, instantly felt very warmly welcomed. Beautiful place, especially with the fire glowing. The menu & food preparation was explained clearly to us and we were encouraged to have a look around and not stay stuck to our table. The food came out and was absolutely incredible, we both were very satisfied and went home feeling very stuffed. We would definitely visit again.β
βSpent a wonderful week at Cheddar Woods, the cabins were clean and well equipped for a self catering stay, including dishwasher and washing machine. We had a hot tub, which was wonderful and hot, and a fake fire place which heats up quickly. The heating and hot water was brilliant, as was the water pressure. There was a heated pool, which again was clean and open mornings and afternoon. There was walks, and Cheddar Gorge is close by. We took a walk down, but take the longer route as it has a path! The staff were friendly, it was great for kids they have a little arcade with cheap Β£1 rides and a playground outside the restaurant. We didnβt eat in there, but the food looked good. I recommend the fresh milk from the shop, it is delicious. It is a great location, and in beautiful woods. We will be back!β
βLarge car park. Easy access. Location good. Breakfast very good. Did not have any other restaurant food. Londis is 100 yards away and sells anything forgotten. Very clean everywhere. Only soap in the bathroom and no tissues but to be expected at the price for a clean easy access comfortable room.β
βMy car broke down so we got stranded in Usk for 3 days, but luckily we found this beautiful hotel. Rooms are immaculate, staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is central and the hotel has a lovely garden. Highly recommended!β
βShannise was really helpful and took time to show me around the gym and pool areas prior to booking my membership. Shannise was professional and took the time to take me through the flexible offer of the gym and pool and also the classes as well. Very easy process and also provided a blue light discount on membership as well.β
βThis was for a pre booked Christmas meal with family. Great food and service and the table looked nice with runner and crackers. The only thing missing was, once we were seated, no one came to just greet us and let us know how long food would be, etc. Otherwise everything was great. Thank youβ
βRecent upgrade is a big improvement, you need to sit in the middle to appreciate the sound. Seats are best suited to people over 5ft. Shame people just leave their rubbish for others to tidy up. 2025 Another useful thing would to have somewhere to hang your coat/bag in the toilets, not nice to use the floor, lovely to see no rubbish left this time. Helpful staff.β
βVery good family atmosphere. Everyone is very friendly. They had a free barbecue on with all kinds of food free for the customer's. And dome a fum raffle for halftime on the football. It's very welcoming, I have to say.β
βHosts were extremely warm, welcoming and friendly. Cooked breakfast was second to none, with high quality ingredients. Rooms were clean, spacious, warm. Beds were very comfy. Location only 5 minutes by car to Keynsham train station. Plenty of car parking on site. Relatively quiet, despite being on a main road.β
βEverythings fine. Room, breakfast, Service, WiFi, everythings fine.β
βAn amazing place for a Sunday roast. Menu is brilliant and service is 10/10. Food is delicious and huge portions. We will be back! Love the location and views, easy parking.β
βRooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a stay (including Ironing board, Iron and hair dryer). Food was excellent and served in a timely manner! Although it's on a main road, the car park is easy to access, and very large, and the road noise does not affect the rooms, restaurant, or bar area! All the staff we met, from the receptionist, to the bar staff and servers, and the cleaning staff we met in the morning, were very friendly, helpful and added to a very enjoyable stay!β
βPopped in for a quick bite to eat. Just ordered two side dishes and a sausage for the dog. Liam was incredibly helpful and polite. Iβll certainly be sure to pop in more often when passing in the futureβ
βGreat little place if you're looking for a value nights sleep. Everything you need and far enough out of town to be peacefulβ
βThe facilities and staff are excellent and attentive. I stay here regularly for business and pleasure. The location of the lodge is perfect for the airport.β
βFirst time of staying here, was absolutely spot on, from checking in to checking out. Already booked again, was so impressed! There is a lift to the floors but also a few stairs too, although I was told and offered help. My room was just perfect. Very clean and comfy, bed was a delight. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of tea/coffee/milk etc. There was a fridge, what a bonus. I didnβt struggle with parking, yes Β£15 per 24hrs but it is what it is, Iβve paid lots more in Bath and it was a fair distance to walk to my accommodation. I personally didnβt sample any food. A great place to stay - highly recommend. Thank you to all concerned for making my stay so memorableβ
βThis apartment exceeded my expectations! From its layout to its elegant decor, it felt like home. Not only itβs beautifully furnished, but the location is unbeatable- just a quick stroll and youβre in heart of the city. Whether I was heading to the Roman Baths or grabbing a coffee, everything was within an easy reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.β
βGreat 2 minutes from airport will definitely come again!β
βReception staff and security guards very helpful. Great location in the city centre.β
βLovely place with friendly staff. Very clean and have a wide selection of popular beverages. Great atmosphere every night. Just on the edge of town so any amenity is available. 100% recommend.β
βBooked to stay at this Youth hostel - single occupancy of a bunk room (2 beds) - light for each bed - stool - not much hanging space and a bit cramped for two who perhaps do not know each other I was in room 11 - shower, basin and toilet was literally next door which I did not have to share I am a long life YHA member but got 10% off They do ask for photo id - but I did not have this but did have my old membership card Signed in and out - For security you ring the door bell to get in first time and after that you are given a code - reception open from 4 pm to 10 pm I thinkβ
βWe spent one night during October and were overall very happy with our experience. The location is amazing with lots of options to hike around the lakes. The hotel is nice, though the rooms are a bit outdated. Bathroom especially needs a renovation. But the room was spacious, had everything youβd need and was clean with a comfortable bed. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had dinner the Old Boathouse restaurant where both the food and service were great. Thank you!β
βPopped in with few mates for a catch up, very friendly staff. Good choice of drinks and food at amazing value. Didn't have food as ate before I came out but had a nose at the menu. Will hopefully try soon.β
βLovely short stay here, clean and comfortable rooms, super friendly welcome from Erika, and a plaster when needed (thanks!). Would recommendβ
βLovely old style house just 5 mins walk from the Hop On Bus. Everything was to our expectations. Ideal very tasty home cooked breakfast. Peter was a wonderful host and went out of his way to make us comfortable. We would suggest getting there in the early afternoon for parking options. Our room had magnificent views of the city. Try the local Curry Mahal, great Indianβ
βHad a lovely afternoon tea at Stanton Manor Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and everything was well looked after from start to finish. The tea itself was excellent, and we enjoyed a peaceful walk around the gardens afterwards, which really added to the experience. A great spot for a relaxing afternoon.β
βThe house manager here is excellent and goes the extra mile to ensure residents are well looked after and activities are available.β
