“Absolutely amazing food, wonderful flavours and it just was delicious!! We got our food within 2 minutes of ordering and the staff were very welcoming and kind. It was a lovely atmosphere and I would highly recommend The Olive Works to anyone!!”
“I have visited this coop several times before & was impressed with its cleanliness and organization. The store is easy to navigate, making it simple to find what you need. Although the product selection is small, it's adequate and relevant, offering essentials like food (for both humans and dogs), over-the-counter medication, and toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part, providing good customer service. The checkout process was usually efficient and smooth. The prices were more than reasonable, which is a big plus. The location is also very convenient.”
“This shop is a little goldmine. It's always busy, where they have a good selection of goods.”
“Comprehensive range of deli products + basics such as fruit and vegetables and a variety of good quality bread.”
“Standard Tesco Express but the staff are wonderful. I regularly deliver here (tho I don't work for Tesco) and they always offer me a hot drink and toast, which doesn't happen anywhere else!”
“Excellent well stocked local grocery store with plenty of options for all budgets and meal choices.”
“My partner and I had a car tax emergency on a Saturday evening and the couple that run this shop couldn’t help enough. Friendly, helpful and overall lovely. Thank you both so much.”
“Today my husband and i were travelling to Glastonbury. We had to wait for RAC for 4 hours and popped in to the store as we were parked up the road. The staff were amazing and even let us use the toilet.”
“One of the best refillable shops I've ever been to! Incredibly friendly staff and an astonishing range of products (even recycle plates and cups for picnics!!). You can also have coffee and cake in, with a lot of gluten free options and a fair selection of vegan goodies. The produce was fantastic, and they will refill any receptacle you have, however random! Also, excellent prices. Brilliant way to do your bit in cutting down on plastic waste in a welcoming environment.”
“Wonderful and personal service - if you need a taxi on time and with that personal service we all like - book with Mega Taxi - without any reservations a five star business”
“They stock most things that you can buy at a larger store, but not so many choices, and prices are slightly higher, but it's in the local community, so there is no need to travel to the main store which is out of town.”
“Excellent staff and customer service really friendly... love the new products especially the tasty milkshakes!”
“Great place to pick up 2 good 2 go bags. Amazing discount and very generous with their choices.”
“This shop is far larger than it appears outside. It's well stocked with a decent range of fresh food, snacks, and alcohol. The staff are always friendly.”
“A lovely little shop with even better staff. They are so lovely and always smiling, even at 7 AM. Thank you for my coffees every morning.”
“We need shops like this, I've always liked the food warehouse which is basically an icelands on steroids. Loads of produce, I can get a very good diner (and a good plates worth) with something sweet for the evening after while watching a little TV for 5.50 uk pounds, and best of all have a different diner for 14 days, (that's as long as I've lasted until needing to go into morrisons for some items they don't sell), but they do very well with what they have, fizzy drinks, meats, curries, chrisps, pizzas (which are as cheap as one UK pound) yes you could have cheese pizza today, pepperoni tomorrow, chicken the next, spend a little more and the pizza choice is impressive, beads, garlic nan's, cakes, cheese cakes, chocolate, vegetables, they've covered most areas of someone's taste cravings. Yes you can say alot of it is processed and yes we should be eating organic meats and vegetables and drinking from a natural well but two things, conveniently easy and a great price, so you know where this is leading to, 5 stars all the way. Oh one quick last thing, watch their car parks. I cant say for all of them because I've only visited the Glastonbury and weston super mares stores but there's strict parking rules with a fine system, I felt I needed to add that. Oh its 9.50pm I gota go, (there's only two people in the world that will know what that means)”
“Overall it's a great store here, there's loads of free parking outside, it's very easy to get to, on car or on foot. Prices are usually quite cheap, however I would say other supermarkets beat this store on price for a variety of things. I usually go here for the meal deal on offer, which is worth the money, although there isn't clear cut lines of what is and isn't in the meal deal half the time which is inconvenient. Large range of items too, can get everything here needed for a weekly shop, food, clothes, drinks.etc”
“Good customer service, tidy and clean, spacious alleys and quick polite till assistants. Good prices.”
“Good quality, reasonably priced goods.Love the bakery.”
“Lovely, helpful staff and great range of quality goods. In a small town setting, with good parking.”
“Amazing again, spent 20 pound on a load of stuff. I don't know what, but I love it. Many friendly customers. I tried speaking mandarin, but I then was accused of casual racism as I assumed the language of the cashier. I said sorry, bowed, again racist, casual, bit still racism. I apologised again, shouted green tea rules! An ran to the bus stop. Great place, will go again”
“Well laid out, bright, clean and always well stocked. The cafe is also great value for money too. The toilets are in desperate need of a Refurb though! I’ve seen public toilets in city centres in better condition!”
“As always , lots of really good food to choose from , lots of ethnic variations of food , something for all tastes , I would recommend the Vindaloo Curry , properly hot and very authentic.”
“The aisles are neatly organized and items are easily spotted, great work staffs Also, the African, Caribbean (foreign) aisle is a great addition to the store! Love it.”
“I recently visited the Aldi store on Church Road in Bristol and had a very positive experience. One of the standout features of this location is the affordability of their products. The rates are consistently cheaper compared to other supermarkets in the area, making it a great option for budget-conscious shoppers. Additionally, parking is plentiful and convenient, which is a big plus for those driving in. The spacious parking lot makes it easy to find a spot without hassle, even during peak shopping hours. Overall, Aldi on Church Road offers great value for money and a stress-free shopping experience thanks to its ample parking. Highly recommended!”
“Yes I shop here for the prices and good quality products, but the friendly professional service just makes a world of difference. The team should be proud of themselves! Even the young chap who is not a talker but has a friendly manner, it’s okay mate, you make me smile.”
“Massive shout out to all the staff! So freidnly! And funny! Very helpful! Shops always well stocked clean and quick service! Little shout out to lisa and the really tall man who helped me get my diet cokes today and dog treats !”
“A bit smaller than most Lidls, but very well stocked, super clean, and with very friendly staff. I’ll gladly keep coming back.”
“Lidl Avon Meads offers a convenient shopping experience with a wide range of affordable products. The store is well-organized and clean, making it easy to find what you need. Staff are friendly and helpful, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Parking availability is a plus, ensuring a hassle-free visit. However, it can get quite busy during peak hours, so plan accordingly for a quicker checkout. Overall, a great place for budget-friendly shopping.”
“I recently had a fantastic shopping experience at Lidl in Lawrence Hill, Bristol. The store was well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
