“I have to say I am a bit of a fan of the tacos from Tortilla, and is one of my go to places for a light lunch. They make a nice fresh and tasty, but light meal. This time I tried out the branch of Tortilla at Cabot Circus. What I like about the food, is it tastes very fresh, true the chicken has been around for a while, but combined with the fresh salad, salsa, and toppings, they are delicious. Can be a bit messy to eat, so I usually use a fork, but in theory you can eat them by hand. Really enjoyed these tacos and they made a nice lunch.”

“Lovely afternoon spend in a beautifully converted Venetian-Gothic building, as an architecture graduate I really appreciate beautiful interiors. The host greeting us and seated our group in a lovely setting which was all ready and prepared for our arrival. Our server was very attentive and constantly checking if we were happy or needed anything. The traditional fish and chips was a favourite amongst our guests! Would recommend the linguine & elderflower mocktail. We will definitely be back soon and recommend if you are visiting Bristol to stop by especially as the brunch we had previously was great - try the pancakes!”

“Amazing experience staying here! Staff very friendly and helpful and also non-judgemental (as we turned up head to toe in Halloween gear aha) and no one batted an eyelid. Our room was clean and well laid out with comfy pillows and good room temperature settings. The hotel feels very fancy and well put together and for the price is amazing value for money.”

“Our stay was amazing . First when we came thru the door was very welcome from receptionist she was so professional and so lovely girl. Room was very clean spacious and so comfortable. Dinner service was very good aswell food very nice and tasty definitely recommended. In the morning last minute we choose try breakfast service and blew us away. Lovely lithuanian lady named Regina welcomed as in best way you can imagine we felt like home.She showed us around and help with everything. Food choices was wow definitely we gonna come back. Always nice to have a little chat too, friendly staff. Prices seems to be comparable to other local take-aways. Would recommend a visit if you've not been before. :)”

“This was a yo sushi first for my 6 & 8 year old boys. My 8 year old does not eat a wide variety of food, so my partner and I thought we were in for a challenging evening. But we were wrong! The Bento boxes were a hit! We also tried some of the kids bento box and it was nice. Our food (California rolls and lots of other dishes) was excellent. However most notable to our meal was the service! Aedan was caring and tended quickly to our order of drinks and food. The manager was very friendly and spent time with our kids at the end of the meal. The kids loved the attention and the meal. A great meal. Thanks to Aedan and the manager, much appreciated, we will be back!”

“Absolutely outstanding creative take on East African food in a great atmospheric central Bristol venue. So many enticing dishes on the breakfast and lunch menu. It was hard to choose but the Hillib cinnamon + black lime brisket, bis bas, fresh cheese, pickles + pitched egg on sourdough will be hard to beat when I come back. “A small kitchen shop and packed with lovely kitcheny things. Bought a wooden pizza-peel (we were talking about buying one earlier in the day and stumbled upon the shop, after visiting the suspension bridge in Clifton). A good quality peel and could have had it etched too but decided would rather have it plain both sides. It cost me £29.”

“Local favourite venue. Excellent coffee, great food, slightly expensive. We paid £25 for two flat whites, a wrap and pulled pork with chips. Biker's hang out, mostly older guys, not too noisy. Recently expanded and much bigger than was. Lots of outdoor seating when it's nice. About 20 car parking spaces. OK weekdays but likely to be full at weekends. Enjoy!”
