“1000% would recommend popping in here for a great feed. Hands down my favourite Mexican I’ve had so far since moving to the UK. The beef brisket is so full of flavor and juicy. As you can see from the photos we ordered quite a lot and there wasn’t a single bad plate of food. Every plate was delicious and very reasonably priced. If you’re in the Reading area and are looking for some amazing food, definitely stop off here. :)”

“As a fan of Indian food we thought we would try the new Chili's and we were definitely impressed. The menu being regional to Southern India means it is not what you see in your typical curry house, but the waiter here was amazing, helping guide our choices and tuning dishes to our taste. “We visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was our first visit following recommendations from friends and it did not disappoint! The photo does not do it justice! The food (and wine) from start to finish was delicious. Such an amazing menu with so much to choice. The staff were also so helpful and friendly. The restaurant itself is also beautifully designed. A really enjoyable experience! I would highly recommend. We will definitely be visiting again.”

“A surprise dinner booked by hubby. The restaurant is cosy with proper tablecloths. The mirrors on the walls make it look bigger but it was lovely. Staff are friendly, menu was quite extensive in choice and they still had specials available. Choices were beef carpaccio- veal - cauliflower cheese - minestrone soup and lam in mushroom and red wine sauce , potato’s and mixed veg…. It all tasted really good - we will be back”

“Today I visited this place, and “Kanchan Shrestha”served us with her beautiful smile and kind behaviour. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the chefs for the delicious food and sweet flavours! I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Nepali food — the dishes were absolutely tasty, the service was warm and genuine, and the portions were generous. This restaurant is truly wonderful — from the friendly staff to the amazing flavours, everything was perfect. I’m really impressed and will definitely be coming back! “I have known of this restaurant for a while, but do not live near by. Finally I decided to pay a visit. I loved their food and service. The front desk lady is super efficient. The menu is delectable and have many of my favorites. I loved the Thali concept as it provided many of my favorites in small portions, more than enough in quantity for a person's meal. All the dishes tasted great and I ended up having takeaways as well. One of the owners was there and came to greet which is a wonderful gesture. I hope this restaurant flourishes as there are not many authentic Bengali restaurants around. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Had an authentic dining experience at this Lebanese place in the heart of Oxford city centre recently. Pictured below is the chicken shawarma bowl, which was a good single serving portion containing a well-balanced mix of vegetables, rice, chicken, and spices. The falafels were also freshly made, filling, and aromatic. The wrap dishes were very flavorful and satisfying as well. They offered a lot of sharing plates, making it an ideal spot for larger groups and family-style dining. Plates may be on the higher end of the price range but there are many options available. There’s also a menu barcode at the table to scan for photo, ingredients, and allergens in each dish, which makes it easy for those who don’t east Lebanese food often to know what each dish contains. The servers were very kind and mindful with allergies - I pointed out we had lactose intolerance and they were careful to recommend what dishes we can have (the chicken shawarma bowl had dollops of yogurt, but if requested can be removed). This place was also nicely decorated and warm, which is pleasant to sit and dine in particularly during cold weathers. Overall a very lovely place for a hearty meal, would be happy to visit again!”

“The hospitality at Coconut Tree Restaurant is truly warm and genuine. I am already in Sri Lanka, but this place feels like an entirely different experience — completely new and refreshing. If you are looking for a new reality, come to Coconut Tree. Here, you can discover new tastes, a new atmosphere, and perhaps the beginning of your own blossoming journey. One suggestion: I brought a lovely elderly lady , and she could not read the menu easily. A large-print menu for elders would be very helpful and much appreciated.”

But I don’t know if the chef has changed or what’s happened but their chole bhature has completely changed and tastes nothing like it used to. It tastes so bland now and without spices and the onions are also just plain. It used to be so tasty before so makes me sad that I’m no longer going to be ordering”

The food we made (vegan red Thai curry) was delicious and Pet did a fantastic job explaining how to cook everything well and to each person's individual tastes. The mocktails we had were delicious. “Typical Tex-Mex fare - there'd be some thing really wrong if I couldn't say "good Nachos". The fries were fair / acceptable - just don't come at the end of a slow, weekday if you want them hot. A different, affordable, quick-service option. Otherwise, there's always Gregg's!”
