“We live just around the corner from Naan & Co. This is our first visit since the restaurant changed hands four months ago and it is fantastic. We are overjoyed to have a top quality Indian restaurant nearby. Everything has been transformed. The interior is excellent with beautiful flooring, lighting, tables and seating. The food is first class: well presented and delicious. And the family who own the restaurant are all lovely: friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back very soon.”

In fact, all the hairdressers are lovely. I've been coming to the salon since moving to the area 21 months ago. The staff are always friendly and recommend styles to suit your hair texture etc, prices are competitive and beauty therapy is also available too.”

    Home Farm Cottages (in Somerset)

    ★★★★★ 4.9

“Truly beautiful settling. The owner here is so considerate and clearly loves the properties very much. All the little touches, from cake in our cottage on arrival, all the amenities you could need (salt, pepper, tea coffee) plus the benefit of dogs allowed AND electric charging point made this 5* for us. I really cannot speak highly enough of this place, it’s been a welcome retreat for us after lockdown. Quality bedding, spacious cosy rooms, functioning facilities, washing and drying amenities plus a large garden area which is impeccably manicured. Would highly recommend. Very rural, but local scenery is very accessible, cheddar gorge is close by plus the seaside at western super mare. Plus cute dogs live here (Harry is the black dog, Louis the golden one is our dog).”

    Casa Bristol

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“Easy to miss from the outside, and not much to see on the inside, the whole focus of Casa is on food and service. And both are fantastic, I must say. We went for the 65GBP menu, and by then end of it where neither hungry nor disappointed. Expect plenty of food, and the dish quality was fantastic all through the meal. My favourite was probably the lion mane mushroom in panko and the sirloin, but honestly, there weren't any weak dishes.”

“Had a really good experience getting my first filling with Dr Naik. Been seeing him for years for check ups so instantly felt comfortable. He used laser technology to complete my filling, meaning I had zero mouth injections which was what I was nervous about initially, but even with having no anaesthetic I had a completely pain free, fast experience (couldn’t feel a thing) and the filling is great. Thank you Dr Naik!”

    Chris and Jo's Kitchen

    ★★★★☆ 4.7

“It's hard not to love this place. It's very charming, the menu changes on a daily basis, the quality of the cooking is good, it has interesting dishes on the menu including lots of options for those who are vegetarians and the prices are very reasonable. We enjoyed our lunch although not everything was absolutely perfect. The star dish was the chicken thighs with gnocchi, it was tasty and well balanced. The mussels were excellent, high quality ingredient which was perfectly cooked and well seasoned but needed something else to go with it, like chips or a good sourdough that can soak up the lovely sauce. The trout was lovely but came on a bed of salad that wasn't as good as the fish. There were no side dishes on the menu which was a shame. We will definitely return to try again on another day and a different menu. The locals love this place and I can understand why.”

    Picnic In The Park

“Passing through and saw this little place. Popped in for a bacon butty and a wee and it’s made me genuinely sad that I don’t live around the corner so I could visit every week. Staff (Sharon and Darcy) were so friendly even though we aren’t local. They had regulars (known by name) and clearly look after them making everyone feel special. Spending time chatting with an older gentleman. It’s opposite the park and botanical gardens, I walked the dog before popping in. Really wished I lived closer to be able to come back get bits for a picnic and stroll in the parks. Dog friendly too! Bacon butty - banging Takeaway brownie not yet eaten but smells divine. Service warm and friendly And the best bit, evening guest chefs and wine! Anyone have the number of an estate agent?”

The place was spotless , everything about it was perfect, the kitchen was fully equipped with plenty of tea and coffee , the beds were so comfy , the living room with comfy sofas and a large dining table which was very light and airy , and the added bonus of parking on site as parking can be an issue in Bristol . Beautiful apartment thank you!!”
