“Decided to come here for a bite before driving back home. Had a calamari to start with, well presented. A medium rare stake to follow and a tiramisu to finish. The calamari was good and tasty, just a bit on the thinner side. The stake was cooked medium rare as requested, seasoned just right and the sauce that it came with made it even better. The tiramisu was just great, just how a tiramisu should be. Great service from the staff as well. Having dinner with a good view and some live music from around makes it a really nice place to be at. Finishing off with a shot of limoncello is a nice touch! Definitely will be back when I visit Cardiff again!!!”

“Went into the Blackwood store on the 10/8/24 around 6pm, to buy a hamster for my little boy two ladies served myself and his nan, fantastic service both ladies couldn’t of been more helpful, we bought the cage/food etc and they gave lots of advice and suggestions both very friendly I didn’t feel pressured to buy anything, fantastic service, they made a genuine fuss of my little boy as his hamster is his first pet, nothing was too much trouble for them. We always enjoy a meal here and it is definitely one of the best in South Wales. The price is also very reasonable and you will think you’ve enjoyed this much more than certain Indian restaurant in Cardiff that cost you twice as much but give you half of the portion. “Not been here in over 20years . I’ve Been to a vintage inn run restaurant before but not this one . A busy restaurant , better to book than just turn up and hope to get a table. A really nice setting and lovely atmosphere as you walk in . Staff are very friendly , and it’s not long before you’re seated that they come over to take your drinks order . We ordered our meals , starters came in no time . Waited a little longer than normal for our main meal to arrive , but it was worth the wait . Food was excellent , all cooked and presented well . Would definitely recommend. Hannah our waitress went over and above to make our night a memorable one”

Too many options on the menu to choose from and I decided to go for the steak one which was tender and juicy! My friend had a veggie burger which was yum! The halloumi fries were spot on. I only wished they served milkshakes too which would have been an icing on the cake!”

This level of comfort is what I expect from Wagamama and they nail it, it's not surprising but you expect it when you get there. Like Bambi's mum dying, "oh wow, there it is, she's dead..." just predictable. Nothing wrong with it, just predictable great service and comfort safe food in my opinion.”

“Went here for "Chicken Tuesday" recently and had a lovely meal. Fresh hot food and attentive staff. Worth saying they had the worlds most awkward table of customers near to us and handled the situation very well considering how rude and obnoxious the couples son was. It's a shame there's not a better cider selection or anything on tap but no complaints apart from that. Will definitely visit again ☺️”
