Apparently today was a busy day, these things happen! Really appreciate the great customer service, and once food did arrive, was really delicious. Nothing like a good Indian on Saturday Night!”

“The best chip shop in South Wales. The chip are like what you expect at the sea side & as for the fish, well it tastes like the ocean and as fresh as the day (real genuine cod, not some random white fish palmed off as cod). If you go there, definitely get the onion rings, they are like nothing you have eaten before and so crisp, they also got good selection of curry sauces which are great. The staff are absolute gentlemen. The only downside side is that they don't open on a Sunday! They also have a 5 Food Standards rating, and the place is spotless.”

“Lovely spot at the end of the Grand Pier. A wonderful cream tea experience followed by a Mimosa which wasn’t on the menu but the team made a plan and so appreciated. Great way to spend the early afternoon. If you make a reservation simply show it at the entrance to the Grand Pier and you will be able to enter at no cost!”

“We recently came for a family meal on pub quiz night. It was incredible, lively atmosphere and a very helpful young man called Cole sounded very experienced and well educated about the pub and how everything is. He made good recommendations, and me and my wife shared a lovely spread. Food was boiling hot and to the best standard. Delicious.”

Really reactive to any questions and requests and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The location is great. Really lovely area with plenty of nice coffee shops, pubs and places to eat. Directly opposite a beautiful park and easy walking distance to the Castle and the City Centre. Next trip to Cardiff we'll be booking here again.”

We sat in the corner and were greeted by a lovely young man Ben..Natalie the Manager served us and was very upbeat and accomadting to our kids and servixe was fantastic. “My daughter had her 5th birthday party at Jump n Jackz. The staff have always been very helpful and quick to respond to my messages. I had to rearrange the party as my daughter was poorly and they were able to offer a new date at no extra charge. The party itself was well organised, all I had to do was bring a cake! Brooke was very attentive and great with the kids. The play equipment was very clean, so much so they flew down the slides! Thanks for a lovely morning!”

“After a total disaster at another place (cold, soggy, clearly frozen chips), we came here not expecting much — but it was a game changer. These were proper chip shop chips: thick, golden, fresh out of the fryer and cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and actually seasoned. You could taste the difference straight away — no frozen nonsense, just real chips made with care. It’s exactly what you want when you’re by the sea: a simple tray of hot, satisfying chips that actually feel worth it. Absolutely made up for the earlier letdown — we’ll be coming back here next time, no question.”
