Location & View: The setting on Cardiff Bay is simply breathtaking. I highly recommend booking a room with a balcony; the panoramic views over the water are unforgettable, especially at sunset. It's perfectly positioned for exploring the bay area, with easy access to the waterfront bars and restaurants. Service: The staff deserves special commendation. From the moment we checked in to the minute we left, the service was attentive, warm, and highly professional. Every request was handled quickly and cheerfully. Comfort & Design: The rooms are luxurious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The 'voco' touches—especially the super comfortable bed and premium amenities—ensure a restful night's sleep. The overall hotel design feels stylish and sophisticated without being stuffy. If you are looking for a top-tier experience, amazing views, and flawless service in Cardiff, look no further. “Food was lovely. I had the breaded chicken breast with fries, coleslaw, and egg. My mum had a full english breakfast. Didn't like the capers on top though I think it kinda ruined the meal but It's my own fault for forgetting to ask to remove them. Full english breakfast was lovely. They take blue light card which is great if you want a decent discount. It took a very long time for staff to take our order and bring the bill, it was busy though. I'd recommend if its not busy and if you have a blue light card as the price would be worth it for the discount. Suitable for people with food allergies and had no issues with that.”

“Nice soft play area a child did come out of there looking for his parents as the seating is on the side not the entrance/exit. So think they shouldn't let little ones out with a parent id. Lots to do nice food good parking.”

“Good quality local Chinese Takeaway that I've been going to in preference for years. Prices are reasonable, quality good & very quick if you go collect. Has a top 5 food hygiene rating as of Oct 2018 according to Food Hygiene Rating website”

“I came here with friends on the weekend and had a wonderful experience. It was easy to find, staff were friendly and added bonus- the sun was out! We did the 45m Bay tour, passing key landmarks such as the Millennium Centre, Pierhead building and Norwegian Church. You can get off at the Barrage where it stops, to do a seaside walk or go for a nice meal before getting back on, or stay onboard to head back to the Bay. As well as unique views of the Bay, we saw other boats and had stunning views over Penarth and the Barrage. There's even a food and drink bar if you fancy it. I have lived in Cardiff my whole life and wish I had done this sooner. If you are a Cardiff resident or planning a visit, this comes highly recommended. Thanks for having us! “Our family had a fabulous week at villa Gaspar. The villa itself is extremely well equipped, with four large bedrooms, comfortable beds, living space, kitchen and large outside space with a lovely pool. We were travelling with a 19 month baby so anything we didn’t have Debbie arranged for the equipment… cot, pushchair, playpen etc to be at the villa when we arrived. Anyone staying at Villa Gaspar would need transport as it’s quite a walk from local shops and restaurants but the benefit is the views and peace, it really was very beautiful. We would definitely recommend using South West Mallorca as nothing was too much trouble and we would not hesitate to use Debbie and her team again.”

“In 54 years, this was by far the best haircut I've ever had. What a great experience . This is a great place for a proper hair cut and shave, grest price and brilliant service. The barber really took his time and cut my hair exactly as required. You might have to wait a while but the wait is well worthwhile. Thank you so much!”

“Lovely old theatre, centrally located, seats quite comfortably with leg room so your knees are not rammed up against the seat in front. We saw Thank ABBA for the music. They are a fantastic group, the best abba tribute band around, the stage, lighting and even base sound was spot on. The staff were friendly and efficient, a credit to Blackwood. The theatre brings people into Blackwood town for pre theatre drinks and meals, which helps local businesses. Let’s hope Caerphilly county council realise this and don’t close the place. Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
