“Incredible food. Ordered chicken curry, chips, crispy shredded beef, rice, pancake rolls. Lovely food. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. The chicken curry was so thick & full of flavour!! It’s definitely on a pricey side, but worth it. Chips could do with an improvement. Will order again.”

“New Yangs is a buffet place, where you order and eat as much as you can, as long as you don’t waste food. A lot of options, always nice food, quick and polite service. I love the lemon chicken and the crispy duck. Would be shocked to hear that somebody went there and didn’t enjoy their food. Have been many times and will go many more.”

“I was a kebab virgin, The workers were bloody amazing, they made a fresh nan in font of us. And filled it with lovely chicken and beautiful salad. The shop was so clean and every thing is on display for you to see I couldn’t recommend it more highly!!!! So friendly and happy, made us feel at home. Come down and try one …… you won’t regret it, amazing value for money. It’s a “yes” from me!!!!!”

“A review worth sharing, yesterday (Summer bank holiday) I must say the care and quality of food throughout the crowds myself (gluten free) was very pleased to see the offer of GF and to be able to eat, enjoy with family was very pleasing. Quality of GF I must say BEST FISH AND CHIPS I have had period! Shame it’s a 2 hour journey haha. Hearing locals in cue saying they’ve tried all in Barry and this was the ONE. Was reassuring, will be back!”

“We were a table of 4 for Sunday lunch. We arrived early and were nicely invited to have a drink at the bar while we waited. When we were taken to the table by the host Chris, he introduced our sever as Mitch who was really personable and positive. It is unusual to have professional and enthusiastic service at restaurants nowadays, so Mitch was a refreshing change! The chefs serving the carvery were great as well, the food of exceptionally high quality with vegetables not being stewed or cooked to death, but actually fresh and inviting. If you like a carvery, this is superb and at less than £20 per head is great value.”

“Had Stratopramen. A pint is £4.40. Bartender was really friendly, funny and experienced. Would definitely go again. There's a cool gong to denote last order. An actual gong. Good WiFi, plenty of tables and comfy seating. Great place to cosy up after a long day at work. Nice spacious open plan layout with a few pool tables.”
