Whether it's eating in, which is a lovely stylish decor and a nice relaxed atmosphere, or take away/collection, the food is always full of flavour. The lobby, the rooftop garden, and the outdoor courtyard are all designed to perfection β stylish, spotless, and truly impressive. βMe and my friend came here on bank holiday Monday 26th August in the evening. Its a lovely pub with a juke box. There were two ladies working behind the bar who were very friendly. βWent here yesterday 18th dec for some hot drinks before panto at the priory theatre. 5 adults 2 teens and a 6 year old. The man serving us (didnβt catch his name) couldnβt be more accommodating, very friendly and helpful and enthusiastic he took our order, made suggestions on drinks including which size would be best for the little one and then found us a lovely table, the waitress (also didnβt catch her name) young girl was lovely, the vibe felt very welcoming and the hot drinks were really cheap and the hot chocolates had cream and marshmallows which were offered I didnβt have to ask like in most places. Will deffo be back hopefully for food next timeβ

βWow just wow We loved it. So glad they moved up town. We arrived for a Sunday evening dinner out. Greeted with a smile from the amazing staff that will go above n beyond to make yr stay perfect. They have decorated the place so well, such a lovely atmosphere. And then the food. I wanted to try something different to start with and went for the duck. The name of it is on the bill. Omg the presentation and the taste WOW. Absolutely loved it. I will be asking for that as a main next time for sure. The wife had the chicken starter which she said straight away, we are coming back for more lol. The rest of the meal was just as good. Excellent presentation, taste is top notch. We highly recommend The Ark And we will be back to try the steaks next time too.β

The restaurant offers authentic Indian food with rich flavors and a warm, cozy ambience that everyone loved. They set up a wellorganized buffet for us, which was perfectly timed and managed. A special mention to Prasanna, who coordinated everything with great patience from customizing the menu to offering the best prices. βWe had our wedding reception at the Old Coffee Tavern a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and super relaxed. The wedding day ran very smoothly, with staff coming in bright and early to set-up the decorations. There was enough seating for the 80 guests which was then moved to the side to make way for the DJ and dancefloor. The buffet was reasonably priced and delicious, particularly the lamb curry, southern fried chicken and the jasmine rice. Several guests have contacted us to say how much they enjoyed the food. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the church, high ceiling and comfy bed. It was great to walk a minute up the road to the weekly market in the morning. A really good location. Great cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options. Pheebs had everything under control which made us feel completely at ease over the full wedding weekend. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary!β

βWe bought our bathroom suite from Bryan when the business was Bathrooms inc and other than a revisit to have our downstairs cloakroom fitted out we haven't had much cause to drop back in because both rooms haven't just stood the test of time, they have hardly aged at all. It wasn't until last weekend when popping in for a new 'pop up' plug mechanism, we realised that it was 12 years since we fitted our bathroom suite. When we bought the bathroom suite Bryan really sold the idea of buying good quality and 12 years later on, he is proved to be absolutely right. Thanks Bryan!!β

We ordered the Chhole Bhature, Aloo Tikki, a few street food snacks, and a Sweet Lassiβeverything was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully made. The staff were really friendly and made sure everything was just right, without rushing us even though it was lunchtime. You can tell they take real pride in what they do.
