βWe stayed for just 1 night and was very pleasantly surprised. From the convenience of the free car park, to the friendly welcome on arrival (and throughout our stay), this is a very inviting place to stay. The room was good, being very clean and well equipped. Being on the front of the building, we wondered about High Street traffic, but it was fine, thanks to noise reducing windows. Nice clean towels and liquid soap and shower gel, along with kettle and tea and coffee, made this a very convenient room to stay in. The pub is nicely finished and, again, very welcoming with very professional, confident and positive / happy staff. Drinks were good, and the atmosphere is inviting. Being right on the High Street is also very convenient for a stroll through Coleshill. For the price, facilities, convenience and welcome I will not hesitate to stay again. After staying in a whole range of hotels around the world, right up to 5 star 'plastic' hotels, I would always now go for a place like the Coleshill. It is a far more intimate, friendly and welcoming stay!β
βI live locally so a great place to pop over to.. It's an old quaint traditional hotel pub restaurant..it's a Chef and Brewer and always has a great menu with offers..food is freshly made..good portions and lovely friendly staff..in the Summer you can sit outside by the river. Highly recommendβ
βStayed for 2 nights. Very helpful & pleasant staff. 2 very nice dinners; the menu was somewhat limited. Excellent full english breakfast. Room very pleasant & clean; bed was comfortable. Only criticism is the absence of a light over the mirror above the dressing table.β
βHad a meal here with friends a couple of weeks ago. We had a warm welcome and a very friendly and helpful hostess. Food was lovely and good value. I would recommend the pie. Will return again.β
βVery good rustic hotel. It looks more like a house with a lot of bedrooms for guests. The staf is very kind and I loved the simple breakfast served in the morning. I enjoyed staying in here.β
βLovely hosts - not often you get served breakfast by a world cup rugby star! And proper freshly cooked breakfast, too. Basis rooms, but comfortable and quiet - a good night's sleep. About half a mile from the centre with free parking.β
β*Reposting as going through my reviews and this wasn't published a few years ago! Went against Google Policy (how for a good review?)* Love this place! Brand new accommodation β easily the best Iβve seen in Coventry. I definitely prefer private accommodation over uni-owned. Itβs in a great location too, just 2 minutes away from all the shops and supermarkets. The staff are lovely β professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Big thanks to Vicky, Kerry, and Darren for being so supportive and approachable (so sad to see Kerry go β todayβs her last day!). There are plenty of events and activities to get involved in, with new games and things to do all the time. The night staff, Ali and Manjeet, are brilliant as well. My room is spacious, modern, and spotless. The facilities are excellent β a well-equipped gym, cosy common rooms and study areas, and the winter garden on the 7th floor is just amazing! The only downside is the Wi-Fi β itβs quite poor, especially in the common areas and on the 6th floor. Hopefully that improves soon. Overall, a fantastic place to live. Thanks, Gulson Gardens Team!β
βClean and well maintained throughout. Convenient location in the town centre. Very helpful and attentive reception staff Mucktadim and Mathew. A very friendly breakfast team and tasty fresh breakfast cooked to order.β
βThe hotel was wonderful and spacious with plenty of room to get your steps in for the day. The reception smelled amazing and has a very welcoming design and spacious reception area. All the staff were very well presented along with big smiles from all. The grounds are very spacious due to holding a golf course on site. The swimming pool was kind of small for that size hotel but it was OK, the sauna and steam room are always an added bonus. The food within the 2 resturants I believe are very overpriced for the quality and standard of food. You can get room service for Β£5 charge. It may have just been me but I dont recommend it based on my experience as my food came cold but to be honest the reception staff done me proud in the end. The overall experience of the hotel was very present so would I go again (yes) but not anytime soon as I like to experience other hotels and like somewhere new. Oh nearly forgot to say the breakfast is the best breakfast I've ever had at any hotel loved it and highly recommend.β
βWe visited this lovely location over the weekend with 2 other families. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the children. The hotel staff were very hospitable and welcoming. Our first meal was at the bar and grill, the staff ensured the children were well served, offered them ice cream and marshmallows on the house since they did not have it in the buffet menu. There is plenty of space around the club for the kids to run about and explore. Ample parking and good location. I would like to mention Matthew at the bar and grill who was extremely helpful. We used the leisure club - swimming , steam and sauna. The only suggestion I would have is to have another pool a bit deeper for adults. Difficult to swim since it's not above 4 feet . Having said that the pool was safe for kids. They have electric car - 4stations charging which was very useful for us. I would recommend this place for a great weekend break!β
βPriyanka she was exceptionally attentive, kind, and professional throughout our entire meal. Her warm attitude and genuine smile made us feel very welcome and well taken care of. She demonstrated great knowledge of the menu and provided excellent recommendations, which made our experience even better. Itβs clear that she takes pride in her work and truly cares about the customersβ experience. Thanks to her, our visit was memorable, and we will definitely be returning soon. Please extend our thanks and recognition to her for a job very well done!β
βCan I just say Wow! We stayed here for our corporate away day on the 12th - 13th of November and It was fantastic. The events team helped me with every query, The price was fanatic with everything that was included. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the meeting space we used for our all day meeting was great, rooms were super comfy and the food was 10/10. We will be considering to stay here again for our next away day, highly recommend.β
βStayed overnight as part of a conference package. Second visit. Excellent! Food is delicious, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Staff are lovely. Well run hotel that delivers a very good all round stay. Not located in the prettiest of areas, but very good access to everything!β
βLovely and cosy place recently had a Birthday party here and the staff were friendly and very helpful. prices are reasonably priced and the place is very clean and well looked after.β
βWe had a lovely stay at the hotel, the room was immaculate and very comfortable indeed. The service was perfect in every way and breakfast delicious. I am very happy to highly recommend staying here. Markβ
βthe waitor servan is an absolute delight. his customer service and genuine care for others is truly impeccable! thank you servan for making our morning. thank you chef shane for a delicious breakfast!β
βI have been working away from home for years now and this the best most welcoming clean place I have stayed Chris the owner is a real genuine guy and very helpful I have already recommended this place to friends thank you.β
βWeβve just returned from a wonderful three-night stay at the Leonardo Hotel, Hinkley Island, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. This hotel is impressive in both size and service, running smoothly and efficiently, but what truly stood out were the incredible staff members. Each and every team member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure we had the most pleasant stay. A special shout-out to Beth and Faith at reception, who welcomed us with warm, genuine smiles and were always ready to assist with any request. Their customer service was second to none, making us feel like valued guests from the start. Similarly, Meghan at the bar was an absolute gemβso friendly, professional, and attentive, making our evenings even more enjoyable. Itβs clear that the staff at the Leonardo Hotel are not only well-trained, but also truly care about their guests, and that makes all the difference. They really went the extra mile to make our familiesβ half-term breaks unforgettable. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our stay so special. You are a true credit to the Leonardo Hotel chain, and we canβt wait to return! The Gomez & Welch familiesβ
βPerfect location to get around via public transport. Eli when we first got here was very good system went down but sorted out room out third time lucky couldn't do kore for us myself and my mum. Breakfast could of been a bit better hot food going cold quickly and contractors should of had a more facilities for them provided and paying guest at the hotel should of had priority. Other than that a lovely stayβ
βVery friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Good heating and facilities, and plenty secure parking. EV charging points would be a great addition. Recommend a stay.β
ββThe Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport-NEC truly exceeded expectations and ranks as the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at to date. βThe quality of the accommodation was excellent. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and provided a comfortable base for my stay. βHowever, the real highlight was the food. The Open Lobby Restaurant offers a dining experience far superior to its competitors. Breakfast was well-cooked with a great selection to start the day. Crucially, the evening meals were excellentβa significant step up from other Holiday Innsβand were genuinely worth the money. It's rare for hotel dining to be a key selling point, but here, it absolutely is.β
βfunction in the main suite - exceptional food and service I have known and used this hotel since mid 1980's - exceptional and on the top of it's game, superb room, breakfast and service in every departmentβ
βWe stayed here for my sisters wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. But for us it was the location and grounds themselves that truly made the stay brilliant. It is beautiful and was the perfect setting for a wedding. I would love to stay here again!β
βStayed at this hotel with work, and I was really impressed from my arrival. Plenty of parking, friendly staff and spacious rooms. I was greeted with a friendly welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. I had injured myself prior to visiting and staff were quick to help out. Even though they did not have any ice packs, they made sure to improvise and I couldn't be more grateful. Bar service was quick, and they accommodated a large party for dining. Food came out quickly and tasted great. A great sleep after a long drive!β
βStaff members were so friendly. Especially the waiting staff you meet for breakfast, one in particular Caroline and Anna the cook. They both had the time to interact with my partner, myself and our 2 year old son. Caroline even came and sat with us and told us to go get some breakfast while she helped feed our son, gave him colouring pencils, drew with him getting to know new names etc .. Anna who is Polish I think she would always greet our son with βgood morning, baba!β Since weβre now back home our son has never forgotten and he would run up and say mummy Anna says βgood morning, baba!β Next door to Premier Inn there is TGI FRIDAYS. We got our dinner in there on the last night. Food was amazing 10/10 but expensive. Make sure if you eat here and youβre staying at the Premiere Inn next to it you tell the staff to get 20% off. Location isnβt bad up the road you have McDonaldβs and Asda. Although it wasnβt easy to find Asda but after a few tries of searching and getting lost we found it lol. Other than that itβs a great place to stay 10/10 No noise, beds were so comfortable, top notch.β
βWe stayed here for one night, last minute booking whilst visiting University of Warwick, very quick an easy, on arrival a quick and simple check in, asked for another towl, that was no problem. Asked about breakfast booking, all explained well. In the morning we were greeted by Emma, what a very friendly and helpful member of the team, chatted whilst taking order, very quick service working well with her colleagues. Good breakfast selection, and a very friendly farewell on our checkout. This is our second stay here, its perfect when we are nearby, thank you Premier Inn, We know what we are getting at a good price.β
βWe visit this location at least twice a year. To visit family. Even though it is close to the M69 you very rarely hear much noise from it. It is a very relaxing location close to Coventry, Nuneaton and within easy access to Leicester. It has a Brewers Fayre located next door so food and drink is close at hand. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly with noting being too much of a problem. All rooms are located on the ground floor with easy access to all.β
βHad an amazing experience from the receptionists. However Charlie at the restaurant made my stay super amazing and outstanding with lovely customer support and service. She is a good listener, full of smile, awesome and brilliant in service. Sheβs 100/100.β
βMy husband & I have stayed at the Premier Inn at Balsall Common regularly over the last few years when visiting my elderly parents. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Last weekend I was greeted by name on arrival and Mia had allocated us our favourite room even though I'd forgotten to request it. Rooms are clean & comfortable and have what you need for an overnight stay.β
βDropped in today for breakfast. What a lovely surprise. Great choice of cooked breakfast and continental with fruit juice and hot drinks all for 1 price.β
