“Can't rate there as I didn't have any, but the atmosphere and drinks were great, thank you 5 stars from me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“We came for Sunday lunch yesterday and was hugely impressed. The quality and taste was fantastic. What I also liked was the fact you didn't have to pay for extras, it was one set price. Will definitely be coming back. We had the lamb and there was plenty of it :-)”
“Returning after a number of years, and the food did not disappoint the Tournedos Rossini was sublime and the steak & game pie was mouthwatering. The service was excellent together with Beautifully kept Beer. Highly recommended.”
“We visited The Barn one afternoon and had such a lovely experience. I ordered the fillet steak, which was perfectly cooked — tender, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. My partner chose the rolled pork belly, which was crispy on the outside, soft and juicy inside, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and since it wasn’t too busy, we could really relax and enjoy our meal. The views from the restaurant are beautiful — a perfect backdrop for an afternoon meal. Overall, great food, friendly service, and a stunning setting. We’ll definitely be visiting again!”
“I went for a team lunch with work, around opening time mid-week. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was varied and all delicious! I enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Burger with chips and coleslaw, and there were lots of lunch offers, such as 2 for £18. Also, some nice decor and lots of parking on site. I'll definitely be going back soon!”
“Birthday celebration dinner. Amazing pub. Loved the ambiance, busy with a friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious with great menu choice. I had sea bass, cooked to perfection with lots of veg and hasselback potatoes. Everyone enjoyed their choices. Prawn cocktail was really good. Portion sizes just right. Only one of us disappointed, no steak and ale pie. Service was excellent. All food reasonably priced. We'll definitely visit again. Would strongly recommend going here.”
“For the greater area of Coventry probably the only better restaurant although a bit high on price but reasonable enough. Very friendly staff”
“Went to Selminas for lunch and it was absolutely delicious as per usual! They have changed their menu a bit since the last time I ate there, but I have no complaints. The portion sizes are more than enough, and the cocktails are pleasing to the eye and the tummy! Service was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. We waited a bit longer than others there, but our food was fresh and delicious so well worth the wait. I literally cannot find a fault anywhere x”
“Great food, massive portions and fab service! Even a beautiful gluten free brownie for desert!”
“Visited on a Sunday eve about 5.30 and were politely told kitchen closed at 6. We were given the Sunday menu but asked if it were possible to have something off the weekday menu; they were so helpful. Nothing was a problem and all our food was delightful; outstanding really. Up there with the best pub food we’ve had. Way better than soulless pub chain food that is everywhere these days.”
“Delighted to go the Old Mill for lunch with friends. The welcome was as always warm and friendly. Our waitress was Lois who attended to us so well being friendly and very helpful. She paid do much attention to us and always had a smile on her face. The meal was as usual delicious and well presented. I love the Old Mill for its great menu and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Lois for your help and hospitality”
“We went for two sharing platters between 5 people and a couple of side dishes, there was so much food! Everything very tasty. Drinks menu is great here including plenty of great options for those not drinking alcohol. Services on our visit was a little slow compared to the other restaurants I've visited, they might have been short on staff that night. Couldn't fault anything else.”
“As a low carb vegetarian with a gluten intolerance, it’s fabulous to find a restaurant flexible and obliging enough to adjust their offerings to my atypical needs. Whilst hubby tucked in to his ribs with fries, my halloumi was served minus the rice or fries, but with a lovely range of (extra veg). It was so good that I asked if the halloumi I couldn’t manage could be boxed and the very friendly and obliging staff did just that. It’s so refreshing to find this level of service. My only critique is that the decor could be smartened up a little, but that did not detract from our experience.”
“09.03.2025 We popped into the The Artisan Bar and Grill for Sunday Lunch. Had chicken wings to start and the roast beef main. Well presented and very tasty. Attentive and polite staff. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone.”
“A lovely old Coventry public house. Many famous people have drank here, and it is due to reopen 28th February 2025 with new management. I can remember coming here as a child with my grandad, and it's not changed much in 40 years.”
“Recently hired out this Beautiful old pub for our wedding reception. The food was amazing with a ni e choice of beers, wines and non alcoholic beer on draught. We cant thank Dav and his team enough who went above and beyond, blessed to have it as one of our local pubs.”
“great atmosphere, went there on Monday for 2 for 1 pizza. the server niamh was very polite and familiar with the menu which helped”
“Great place to be for sport and drinks with friends, amazing atmosphere. Great offers on spirits and bottles.”
“Went here for my 50th birthday with my wife and two girls. Staff were wonderful and the food was great. Only dropped one star off the atmosphere as the restaurant was boiling in the unusually hot temperatures, I know it's not normal temps but a few fans may have helped.”
“Gluten free!!! Very nice and clean place. This restaurant has its own cool atmosphere. I made order online to collect and eat at home, because I was in rush. I arrived too early, however staff allowed me to seat comfortable and wait for my order. I wish to give 5 stars, but unfortunately I get my Passion Fruit Semifreddo without Passion Fruit topping :( (due to bigger order I didn't check at restaurant, realised at home)”
“Finally found a decent pub in Leamington/Warwick. The Guinness is great. Staff are friendly and the food is good value for the quality. Roast (which they’ve just started doing) was brilliant, kudos. Gem of a pub.”
“3 of us dined lunch time at this lovely pub. A nice warm welcome as soon as we stepped in set the scene for a very enjoyable lunch. A nice chatty atmosphere as the place was busy (always a good sign) but not loud. The food didn't disappoint, my salmon was cooked to perfection and nods of approval from the others said it all. Can't comment on the beer as I, unfortunately, was driving! Thanks to all the staff, thoroughly recommended.”
“Popped in for a late Sunday lunch, 6.30 they only had pork left so I doubled up on the meat. It was ace washed down with a great pint of Hookey.”
“This is a wonderful wee pub. Legit had the best ploughman's I've ever had. Staff are all lovely and friendly and the garden is gorgeous. I'd already eaten the cheese and garlic bread before I took the picture.”
“Very impressed with my visit to this Loungers. Pleasant service from the female server with dark hair and award winning smile. I returned after an hour and was served by the charming Millie who knows how to interact and engage with customers. Josh brought the tapas deal over and apologised for the shortcomings which were quickly rectified. One of the best in the region.”
“Absolutely incredible food and we loved the live band! The lamb shank and prawn curry was absolutely 10/10! Food I was faultless, will return in a heartbeat.”
“The new owners have done an amazing job, the refurb is modern and fresh. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. Great atmosphere, we’ll definitely be back!”
“It was nice and quiet experience with my family. Staff was very kind and helpful. Since owners changed seems standard of food and quality got even better. Food was tasty more than i expected. And portions was generous especially kids one. I would highly recommend this place. Especially when they have special price offers. As you can see we had roast dinner and it was wonderful.”
“Came to aroma and had a cajun chicken, roast veg & brie omelette, and a flat white. The food was so delicious! so full of flavour. The salad included red cabbage, a sun dried tomato, olives and a balsamic glaze. The omelette with tons topping & fresh herbs on top. You can tell the food is made with love :) The waiter was really friendly and helpful and there are some really interesting knick-knacks to look at all throughout the decor of the restaurant. I came on a Sunday morning in June and it wasn't busy. You get the feeling you've gone back in time. Glad I chose Aroma for my breakfast whilst in Leamington!”
“Fantastic little pub/restaurant in Long Itch village, close to the duck pond. Enjoyed several family get-togethers there and a couple of quick visits with my daughter. Nice food, good beer and top class service. Sometimes lucky enough to have outside entertainment as well.”
