βLovely village cafe. Very friendly and professional staff. Cosy.β
βThe Victorian Aviary Cafe, really did used to be a bird Aviary many years ago . It's such a very attractive place, it's caste ironwork adding an intriguing air to a little group of ancient fir trees.β
βSince we have loved here this place has been through a few incarnations but the food and service we received when we went there this weekend was by far the best and one of the most well accomplished Sunday lunches we have had - everyone finished their massive portions (see pictures) The key lime pie was the only odd thing - the strawberry almost completely covered the lime taste but the pie was good without it. 100% recommendβ
βI came here to study and it was a pleasant vibe. It was not busy during lunch time and the lighting was very well lit. I had a smooth cappuccino which was nice but nothing special. Iβd recommend this place to study as there are many tables and comfy chairs.β
βHad a lovely server called Kayleigh and Harry. Fantastic atmosphere and lovely food! Would definitely recommend for a bottomless brunch or just for a few drinks to catch up with friends. Drinks were 10/10 food was 10/10 atmosphere 10/10 friendliness of staff 10/10 as I got greeted on arrival and perfect interventions once ordered. Although it was sort of quiet around 19:00 I would recommend anyone to come here :))β
βHad the large carvery delivered. Food arrived well packaged and there was plenty of it! Good selection of meat and vegetables, gravy served separately and the roasties.OMG!!! Some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend if you fancy a roast with all the trimmings without the hassle and washing up. ββββββ
βI haven't been in for a fair while but nice to see a more bright and fresh decor. Still popular with people of all ages. Nice fresh cakes from the counter. Staff friendly enough. Plenty of tables. Update on 19th July 2025 Enjoyed a breakfast with my girlfriend, still as good as ever.β
βGreat pub which I am now so glad to call my local, fantastic staff and superb beers, I would recommend this pub to anyone coming into Kenilworthβ
βWe had our wedding reception at the Old Coffee Tavern a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and super relaxed. The wedding day ran very smoothly, with staff coming in bright and early to set-up the decorations. There was enough seating for the 80 guests which was then moved to the side to make way for the DJ and dancefloor. The buffet was reasonably priced and delicious, particularly the lamb curry, southern fried chicken and the jasmine rice. Several guests have contacted us to say how much they enjoyed the food. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the church, high ceiling and comfy bed. It was great to walk a minute up the road to the weekly market in the morning. A really good location. Great cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options. Pheebs had everything under control which made us feel completely at ease over the full wedding weekend. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary!β
βHad a wonderful Festive meal here. Service was excellent. A very welcome and friendly place to eat and enjoy the company of friends.β
βVery good rustic hotel. It looks more like a house with a lot of bedrooms for guests. The staf is very kind and I loved the simple breakfast served in the morning. I enjoyed staying in here.β
βI went to Trentfest not long ago, it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was really warm and friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The whole place is lovely and clean. I 100% recommend the Trent Valley for all kinds of entertainment, they have loads of different bands/singers etc on.β
βThe two lovely girls working were very welcoming and helpful with dietary advice and requests. It was lovely to see a dog in there, that's always a plus. The food was excellent quality, fresh and well worth the money, the cakes had vegan and gluten free option's, I honestly couldn't fault anything at all and I shall definitely be going back.β
βRegular user. A limited daily menu. Always top food at sensible prices.β
βLovely staff, friendly people. Not a place to eat. Has a small function room and outdoor smoking area.β
βNot the cheapest of pub restaurants but this is absolutely reflected in the quality of the food, which was fabulous. All of the 4 dishes which my family members ordered were all rated highly. The braised blade of beef was superb and dessert board offered a great choice of modern and old school puddings. Very friendly team where nothing was too much trouble. Easy access for those less abled. Not a huge amount of parking but does have disabled parking around the rear. Large beer garden, well kept and tidy. I would advise to book to not disappoint.β
βLove this place the staff are great fun and shiv runs a solid hardworking pub. Great Community old school pub with live bands that go on to make a name for themselves. I hope they give shiv the recognition she truly deservesβ
βBirthday Lunch at the private dining room. The service was very good. They made sure we always have drinks and that we are happy with our dishes. The food was delicious we all had Sunday roasts. The planning was also very smooth , they were responsive and communicated well.β
βReally impressed, we were a large group without a booking and they accommodated us perfectly and the service was brilliant. Food was significantly better than expected too, Chicken Burger particularly was really good portion sizeβ¦ weβll be back!β

βIt was quiz night so the pub was busy, however not so busy that we could not enjoy our meal. A good friendly atmosphere. Weβre were served by Mary, who was friendly and very helpful. She answered our questions about the food and helped us navigate the app β¦ we ordered from our table. The food was good, standard pub meal, but was hot and tasty. Would definitely go here again for a mid week meal.β
βVery nice, friendly pub which offers music and food. Enjoyable experience. Would recommend.β
βJust had my 60th bash in the Oakβs function room. Excellent service all round, big shout out to Grace who helped host the event and was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. And James for sorting the logistics beforehand , including the photo slide show. Pulled pork batches and mushroom alternative also went down a treat. It was a squash and a squeeze for the 60 guests but didnβt detract from a fabulous evening.β
βIt's been 17 years since I've been to The Rainbow. I was pleasantly surprised. It's always been a nice village pub, but I was impressed by the selection of beers and the food. Good traditional pub food, good quality and not overly complicated. The Ploughman's for sharing was abundant, good quality, and a good price. It's been many years since I've been back in England and The Rainbow is an example of how British pubs used to be and how they still should be.β
βGood selection of beers. Super friendly staff. Ample parking and beer garden.β
