“What an amazing hidden gem of a restaurant! We ordered the three-course set menu, and every dish was delicious. The best naan bread i've ever had too! The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended!”

“I stayed in Derby for 4 days for work and I only wish I’d discovered this place at the beginning of the stay. I’m on a bit of a low carb kick and all I could find in Derby was pizza or fast food. The food here was absolutely delicious and fresh, the Greek salad was perfect with a large chunk of feta on top, the skewers were cooked to perfection. The chap who served me was friendly and very helpful and the restaurant itself was lovely, I opted for takeaway as I was in a rush but I’d definitely sit in there on any future trips”

“Visited on Easter Sunday for a birthday celebration. Only found out about the place online the day before. How have we not been here before? This is a little gem of a restaurant. Although fairly small, and quiet when we arrived late afternoon, the restaurant had a nice feel from the moment we arrived. Service was excellent all the way through even as it got busier, and all our questions about the menu were answered by the manager who obviously took great pride in the restaurant. The food was excellent as we shared 5 tapas between 2 of us, which was more than enough, although we were tempted by dessert. The selection of wines was good, and the Spanish beers were interesting and varied. Overall an excellent meal, and good value when taking into account drinks as well. We’ll be back.”

Once you enter the shop you’re introduced by a mix of world class music, paired with top tier customer service. For my first time here it was an experience you would get a michelln star restaurant! “Best Indian in Loughborough, if not Leicestershire. We had butter chicken, naan, rice, saagwala and Dansak and they were delicious. The chicken was so tender it fell apart in your mouth. You could taste the difference between the curries which is oddly rare as many seem to use such heavy spices that all flavour is overtaken by them. Great portions and at such a good price too. The man who dealt with us was friendly too.”

“Great buffet experience with a wide variety of Chinese, Indian, and continental dishes along with live stations. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the options were well presented. The only thing I really missed was crispy fried prawns, which would have made it perfect, hence one star less. Otherwise, highly recommended!”

My absolute favorite is the Fire Cracker Chicken – it’s spicy and full of flavor.. If you prefer something sweet, the Caramel Chicken and sweet and sour chicken are a great choice. The Salt and Pepper Chicken has the perfect balance of seasoning, and the Chinese Chicken Curry is another must-try, with its rich and flavorful sauce. Moreover, blue light card holders can get 20% off and for the students can get 10% discount. Overall, Chopstix Derby is a fantastic place for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal. “Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. This is all second to the first rate service and the friendliest of staff, who were extremely helpful during my visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in lovely Etwall.”

“I've been put off from ordering due to negative reviews for some time but tonight thought I'd just give it a go So I'm specifically looking for freshly grilled chicken and lamb on the skewer over a flame grill. Something I used to get at TJs in Leicester many moons ago. The key elements for me is never old meat sitting in a bain Marie and the option for grilled onions and peppers. So here's what you get. The most succulent, delicious and perfectly barbecued chicken and lamb straight off the skewer. Perfectly marinated and cooked fresh. The option of grilled peppers and onions and absolutely incredibly delicious barbecued mushrooms for just only £2 extra. The naan bread was soft and delicious and perfectly crisp on the outside. Generous portion of salad and delicious. Slightly crispy but perfectly pickled peppers. Food arrived. Piping hot and can only wait at 10 out of 10. This is by far my new favourite kebab place in Derby. We will be ordering again!”

“Ordered for the first time. Absoloutley stunning nice chips not soggy. Chicken balls weren't in soggy batter the chunk of chicken was massive. Seaweed had cashew nuts in which I LOVED the honey Peking sauce was so nice didn't feel like I was eating sugar. The curry sauce didn't taste like powder. Nice thick prawn crackers. Veg in the chow mein which doesn't seem to be a thing anymore. Going to be my new go to Chinese”

“We ordered some food for delivery tonight. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the portions for the pasta were! Literally the size as a Ben and Jerrys tub! We really enjoyed our food and will be ordering again.”

“Wow! Caught a last minute booking for the ten course - yes TEN - tasting menu. Fab-u-lous! Something so wrong yet right about starting with the unmistakable taste of a Big Mac from the first course but we then cantered through so many creative and sumptuous dishes, each painstakingly presented and introduced by her enthusiastic and friendly team. Start with a cocktail and then enjoy taking your time with the wide choice of wines to suit all tastes (and budgets). We went with a Montrachet as it was a special occasion and the food deserved a wine to match. But please don’t make a reservation - it was hard enough to get one this time!”

“We were visiting Tutbury, and stumbled across this lovely café. We only had drinks but even those were nice. The caramel latte is my favourite ☕ The staff were helpful and friendly. The toilets are on the left hand side of the café, and we're spacious and clean. I would recommend this café.”

“Went here after seeing mashtag go and ordered 3 dishes teriyaki chicken which was not very spicy my teenage daughters request it was amazing 9 out of ten then a seabass dish also amazing 8 out of ten my preference don't like citrus then a beef rendang don't no ifs that's spelt write this was a bit spiced and also my daughter who dosnt like spices favourite massive 10 out of 10 all meals were either with rice or noodles but we had both which were cooked beautifully the presentation was eye pleasing apparently they have been there 8 years so not being from derby didn't no about it the staff were brilliant explaining the foods any one who reads this needs to go I don't normally do reviews but think hari hari and it's staff deserve a shout out”

“As outsiders to Derby we came here after reading such great reviews online. This place did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the staff helpful and accommodating and there were lots of veggie options. My jalfrezi was nice and spicy, just a shame i couldn’t finish it or take it back to our hotel.
