“This was our first flight from East Midlands Airport as we usually fly from other airports. We spend around an hour and half in this beautiful lounge using Priority pass. Lounge was not too busy and it was tidy / clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Had plenty of freshly made and tasty vegetarian food options. Considering the food taste, this is one of the best lounges we have been to in the UK. They serve tea, coffee soft and alcoholic drinks in the lounge. They didn't have any non-alcoholic beer etc but was pleasantly surprised to find non-alcoholic gin / tonic which was quite good.”

“Great place with great coffee. Really enjoyed a nice breakfast cob and slice of cake.very nice modern setting with plenty of space and little play area outside for the kids. Staff are warm , friendly and polite and really make you feel welcome. If you like a slither of cake be warned these are great cakes but you got to be quick , they are popular. For a place in its infancy they have made an amazing start and living close I am eager to see this great little spot grow from strength to strength. Highly recommend this place for sure.”

“My children have been attending Thornhill for over a year now and I honestly can’t talk highly enough of the setting. The nursery is a clean, open and airy setting with an incredible outside area and well laid out rooms containing perfect age appropriate toys catering to both the youngest and the oldest of the rooms. The beautiful setting aside, the staff at thornhill are truly what makes it. I was incredibly anxious to start my children at nursery… it takes me a while to warm to new settings especially trusting them with my children and honestly? I was sold the moment I had spoken to the angels as I now call them (because seriously, anyone who can make my oldest try new food and my youngest sleep is an angel). Every single member of staff is lovely, they have no issues answering any questions you may have and the love they have for your children shows when they greet them in the morning. Both my children are polar opposites so I feel it’s important to pass comment that they cater to every child’s needs. Olivia, the nursery manager is truly incredible. I have sought her advice a lot in the past 6 months and she’s always given me honest advice and opinions which is so valued because of her years of expertise. As a parent, I don’t know everything and it’s nice to get outside input from someone who has plenty of experience with all kinds of children!”

“Hired Melbourne Florist to provide our wedding flowers. Susan and Sarah were very friendly and professional and took the time to understand what style of flowers we were going for and our colour scheme. They recommended types of flowers that would work best and we felt completely comfortable to give them the freedom to make the best flower selections on the day. The flowers looked fantastic and lasted really well afterwards. Would highly recommend!”

“We ordered Siemens dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine. The prices were same as best internet price but included free delivery and installation. The service on latter was outstanding and all difficulties of con fined space were overcome with aplomb. All these excellent machines now working with added confidence of 5 year warranty for parts and labour. L and N stock some very high quality machines and we found it helpful to see the actual products and discuss with experienced staff.”

“Brilliant party, very good value for money. We love the photobooth and I like how things like cake knives and lighters are provided as this is often something people forget. We already have another party booked here and can't wait! Unfortunately I can't provide photos as they all have children in.”

Their menu is great and it has made it a little easier at home with trying things he didn't always like to eat.”

The activities they provide for the children are always so creative and aid their learning at the same time. The food they provide for the children is always varied and I think the nursery is excellent value for money.”

“This is the second time we have booked this venue and it’s fantastic. Highly recommend it. It’s a nice size for a cosy event. The facilities are good. Plenty of parking near by. The organisers are friendly and keen to help. This is now our go to venue for events. Plus the money goes to a charity which is an added bonus.”

“Got my family Christmas gifts from here and birthday gifts, too! It's been handy to have around in case you need something fun or a gift. Also, offers click and collect too on items they have in stock if you need to get something but don't have the time, give them a visit if you have the time, no end of fun stuff to play with and the staff seem to be having fun too which always adds to the experience.”

“We come regularly for music and messy play. Emma has always been very welcoming and easy to talk to, there are a variety of toys for the children to play with in the role play area whilst we wait for other parents and carers to arrive and my son loves it. The messy play varies and Emma takes on board what the children enjoy and what they don't for her future sessions, we know in advance what the messy play will be so we can plan the children's clothes in advance and I personally love that.”

“I can not recommend this nursery enough, My two girls started at 5 months old and I was so so nervous about leaving them why they were so little, but the staff put me as ease and made me feel so comfortable in leaving the girls in their care. Now the girls absolutely thrive off nursery and love going in everyday to the exciting activities available. When my girls don’t go to nursery they really miss it. Which really puts my mind at ease that they are having the best time while I work.”

“Great service from our waitress cora, she was helpful, polite and attentive. Food was a 10 out of 10. Main meal was ready straight after our starters. And for those of us doing dry Jan they have a few 0% options to choose from. Will definitely be going back. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 3 is because we went in at 1300 and it was quiet”
