“We had our kitchen/diner designed and project managed by Trevor at Holmetree - 22 years after having our last kitchen from there. The process was slick and professional from the outset. We were involved at all stages of the design process, and any changes we requested were implemented. Communication was phenomenal. Planning and time frames were perfect and totally on schedule throughout. The installation experience wasn’t at all stressful - and we even had a wall knocked down as part of it! The units were beautifully crafted and built in the workshop. The installation team were equally skilled in all aspects. Furthermore, building works, electrics, plumbing, decorating and tiling teams were all of the highest standard. And what made it even better was that everyone was so friendly and lovely to have around. I described the whole experience as an “exciting journey”. Attention to detail in the finished kitchen is second to none. We are very grateful to the Holmetree family for creating a whole new lifestyle for our home. We have had nothing but compliments about the kitchen.”

We did the usual rounds of kitchen companies and were really impressed when we went to Duo, Kevin and Joe were great answered all of our many questions and really seemed to understand what we wanted. I never knew there were so many options and decisions to make, but Kevin and Joe were very patient and spent lots of time helping us make the right choices. The whole thing from start to finish went smoothly, all the trades were brilliant and turned up when they said they would and got the job done on time. “Very helpful and highly recommended if you want a non pushy experience. We have been doing our utility room and kitchen over a period of several years (yes, shush my wife is patient!) and I was going to be doing pretty much all the work. As a consequence of this, we had our own overall design, ideas and goals but what I wanted was something a bit different than picking bits from B&Q etc. but equally didn't want to engage with a company who only wanted to fit everything and charge labour. Equally, I was interesting in finding a company who were prepared to validate our ideas and based upon their experience, give advice in areas which we might not have fully considered and offer suggestions where they have encountered similar problems in the past. After all, this is their day job, it's not mine! We got all of this through working with David and Andrew and were delighted with the constructive help and our end result. At no time was there a hint of sales pushing, which only adds to the other reviews which echo the same. David and Andrew have plenty of experience about what works and what doesn't and if you spend the time and take on board the information that they can provide as part of your build, you'll get a result to be proud of. So, If you want to have a relaxed discussion pop in and chat with David and Andrew, just try to avoid Saturday mornings as they're understandably at their most busy.”

“I love my new kitchen. It was small and dark with very little work surface. It is still small but feels so much bigger and brighter now. I had a fairly clear idea of what I wanted - in such a small space there were limited options for major changes. I asked 3 firms to come in to design and quote. I am sure the other 2 were fine but Richard picked up on potential issues, design details that the others just did not see. Issues were addressed at the design stage meaning I was not dealing with numerous phone calls or questions during the construction stages. He also was the only one that came up with a solution to improve the lighting and it is a great solution. The guys he brought in to do the individual jobs were all good and the project finished on schedule and on budget. It cost me more than I initially intended to spend but I have finished up with exactly what I want, with minimal stress or hassle. I don't regret a penny (or pound).”

Quote was provided immediately, giving me a choice of boilers and warranty length and felt they provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed choice which suited my needs.
