She was pleasant, chatty, and made sure our meal was exactly what we wanted - couldn't fault the food or the service! Staff were rushed off their feet with it being the busy festive season, but they breezed through it effortlessly. Thanks everyone!”

“Gorgeous pizza in a lovely atmosphere plus great tunes as added bonus. They use ingredients from their allotment and stone milled organic grains for their dough which is so tasty even on its own. I had fig and goats cheese, can't express how delicious it is. There's a wide selection of organic wine to sip while you wait. Me and my friends had a great time! (Also the rye chocolate cookies are like heaven).”

“Fantastic food and atmosphere for our wedding anniversary dinner. Nothing was too much trouble, my wife is gluten free and they were able to do her a gluten free base pizza. Definitely order the olives as well! Loved the fact that this was a family run restaurant and you can really see the effort put in especially into the food. Thank you for an authentic Italian food experience!”

“Overall, brilliant place to eat out will definitely come again. We ordered garlic bread, BBQ chicken pizza and lasagna. They were all great value for money, arrived in decent time, and tasted excellent; we left full and very happy. Although the resturant was empty when we went (we went 6pm Tuesday night) there was still a friendly and calming atmosphere with interesting decor and lovely staff. Only negative I can think of- you have to pay £3 for water (did not enquire about tapwater). Owners: I recommend putting a sign outside by the high street or post lots on social media- you deserve more customers!”

“Amazing venue, the decor is a riotous mixture Hollywood and middle east the food is Amazing and great value for money, The thing that really makes it special is the warmth of the welcome from the super friendly, helpful and perfectly polite staff in particular Navpreet who was too modest to appear in the pictures.”

“This Italian restaurant tucked away in Derby's city center is a real hidden gem. Delicious authentic Italian pizzas, we got a capricciosa and ai carciofi, a tough choice as there's a large menu to choose from, but they were both amazing. Incredible Italian desserts as well, one of us had tiramisu and chocolate ice cream and the other had the cannolo Siciliano. A real taste of Italy! It was quiet and cosy in the restaurant as we went at 5pm on a Tuesday, I'd love to see it busy and buzzing in there as it's a wonderful little place.”

“Great service from our waitress cora, she was helpful, polite and attentive. Food was a 10 out of 10. Main meal was ready straight after our starters. And for those of us doing dry Jan they have a few 0% options to choose from. Will definitely be going back. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 3 is because we went in at 1300 and it was quiet”

“I've had the seafood linguine, and the lasagne, which were both excellent. I strongly recommend trying the ice cream after seafood - the vanilla and pistachio one. The pistachio ice cream actually tasted like pistachio, which has never actually happened to me before! The lasagne is lovely and rich, perfect with a glass of red, and the tender stem broccoli salad I ordered. The pine nuts with it were also really nice! The service was exceptional from the staff, as usual. Both the food and service are always consistently good!”

“Singh’s Punjabi Restaurant is a cosy place that perfectly catered to me and my friend’s meal. As a vegetarian, the options on the menu were extensive, which is something I rarely experience, and from what I ate, the food was delicious. I also really appreciated the vibe of the restaurant; customers knew the staff, and that resulted in a welcoming and social environment. The apple juice was also exquisite.”

“Great place for a laugh, game of darts, pool and the quiz night on a Tuesday is a good time. Also great to go back the next day when you need to be fed and they will look after you and your sore head. Kids are welcome and the atmosphere is child friendly and the outside seating is denominator on a hot day it’s great vibes.”

The Desi Special Pizza was packed with flavour, with the perfect balance of spice and toppings – definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve had in Derby. I also ordered the Spicy Vegetarian Pizza with Chicken Tikka, and it was absolutely delicious – the tikka gave it that extra kick while still keeping the veggie freshness. Both pizzas were hot, fresh, and full of taste. Highly recommend Delizia if you’re looking for top-quality pizzas with a proper Desi twist!”
