“I was very lucky to have been given Freddie as my partner and teacher for a Strictly-style charity event, where I had to learn a cha cha that was to be performed in front of 150 people, in a relatively short space of time. Freddie's passion for dance, skill in teaching, confidence in my ability and calm demeanour made the whole experience an amazing one for me. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Freddie and Nuno's dance4passion classes.”
“Dance discovery is a welcoming, nurturing and inclusive dance school. My daughter is autistic and dyspraxic and has been included l, encouraged and loved since the moment she joined! The teachers always go above and beyond to help the children grow and develop in to confident dancers. I 100% reccommend anyone to join and become part of the dance family ❤️”
“The best thing I ever did! Been 4 and half years now and genuinely look forward to every class. A great coach and great bunch of guys who have all become great friends. The classes suit all from beginner to advanced with striking and fitness class now included too! The whole family now goes! Ask questions, make mistakes and learn every day. You will be as addicted as the rest of us!”
“My daughter has been swimming with turtle tots since she was 4 months old. She's now 4 and a half. She has great confidence in the water and that's down to what she's been taught by the fabulous teachers she's swam with. She's had 4 different teachers and each one has been amazing. She loves all the songs they sing and how fun they make the lessons! The badges at the end of each term are a nice touch too! Turtle tot lessons are worth every single penny. Highly recommend them.”
“Great swimming experience. Clean and Covid-safe changing environment, well managed. Nice water temperature and pool depth. Good range of lane speeds, would recommend now that we can use pools again!”
“Bachata Blues Edinburgh is hands-down one of the best dance schools I’ve attended. The quality of the classes is outstanding—everything is clearly structured, well-paced, and thoughtfully designed so you can truly progress week after week. Each lesson builds on the last, making the learning journey feel smooth and genuinely rewarding. Highly recommend getting the block of classes as the lessons are structured within those. The instructors are exceptional. Their strong professional qualifications and artistic careers really shine through in the way they teach—technique is explained in a way that’s easy to understand, and they always take the time to refine details without making the class feel overwhelming. You can tell they’re passionate about both the dance and the students’ development. The environment is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have experience, you immediately feel included and supported. The whole community has a warm, positive energy that makes every class enjoyable and motivating. If you're looking for high-quality bachata classes in Edinburgh with expert instructors, a clear learning structure, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, Bachata Blues Edinburgh is the perfect place to learn and grow. Highly recommended!”
“Great Experience at Funparx, Edinburgh! We had a brilliant time at Funparx! Booking was quick and easy, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The place is clean, fresh, and really well set up, with fantastic play facilities that kept the kids happy and busy. It wasn’t too noisy or overwhelming, which made it a pleasant experience for parents too. The price was reasonable, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the other families there were lovely. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!”
“I’ve really enjoyed my experience at Village Gym Edinburgh. The yoga classes are fantastic—well-structured, calming, and always leave me feeling refreshed. A special shout-out to Natalie at reception, who is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She consistently makes the atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!”
“Couldn't recommend Stewart Glen 'Leather Master Craftsman Edinburgh' highly enough. We have a couple of aniline leather sofas that were around 15 years old & had never been fed! (Didn't even know it was a thing!) I'd been looking for new sofa for ages but had not seen anything I really liked, came across Stewart's website & decided to give it a go! We're delighted with the sofa's which look amazing. They've been totally up cycled and I haven't had to send anything to landfill! Much better to restore than renew!!”
“Whether dancing for fun and exercise or more competitively, Daniela and Nathalie support and inspire all the dancers. Everyone is made to feel welcome and encouraged to achieve.”
“Learning Salsa and Bachata here has been amazing! I've been coming here for a few weeks now and Ami's passion for teaching truly shows! What's even better is that these lessons are free on Fridays and Saturdays!”
“My girls love the teachers and the skills that they are being taught.”
“Excellent lessons, very friendly and approachable. Made learning piano a very enjoyable experience, boosted my confidence with my playing. Couldn’t recommend more!”
“Attend the Edinburgh Winter Swing Weekend each year. It's great. Fab teachers and good venues for dancing.”
“Pleasantly gentle introduction to ballet which can be rather regimented and almost harsh in some other schools. Young lady enjoyed it thoroughly, the teaching is there just needs the pupil to listen. She now has time to work out whether ballet can be a future option without any pressure.”
“Great place to learn to dance.all types of styles and ages .staff are there to take care of you at a pace that is right for you they are a shinning light in the professional services that they provide to all children”
“I only saw this dance group at the start of their session, doing their warmup exercises, but I got some photos and was really impressed with their vibe -- as well as the dance itself. What makes groups like this appealing is how friendly they are and this lot seemed particularly welcoming. If I was living in Edinburgh I'd love to join them and learn this ancient dance from the Punjab. Although they teach Indian dance they all seem to be Scottish university students. I'm not sure if any of them are actually from India. I got their permission to take their photos and post them here, and I could feel a happy vibe when doing so. The building itself is ancient, well restored and impressive. Check out their website as they have other classes during the week. This review only refers to their Sunday class. Good luck and happy dancing.”
“The day ticket is very cost saving for fife and east scotland. Stagecoaches operates between fife villages as well. Download the app to use, its more efficient”

“Great friendly venue. Beginners welcome every week. There's a beginner class at 7.30pm followed by some freestyle dancing then an intermediate class with Taxi dancers on hand to help the beginners with a review session at 8.30pm. Then freestyle dancing until 10.30pm.”
“Took one swim lesson and I would go back. Great instructor.”
