“Went into the Newcraighall store today, on the off chance and because I was passing. I ordered online on Sunday night. I’d had no email confirmation, had no order number, but I could see the transaction on my credit card statement. Anyway, it’s a birthday present for my son and was worried. I’m taking the time to write this because the assistant, Rhonda, was outstanding. It wasn’t even that store but she went above and beyond. I left feeling two things, really relieved that the issue was sorted (and it was- parcel picked up at Meadowbank earlier) and sure that I’d be using Argos (especially the Fort) again. What a nice, competent, helpful woman. ⭐”

Just recently my oven stopped working during the self clean programme, turned it it blew a fuse due to some wiring melting. Mateusz was out within 24 hours of me reporting the problem and as my oven repair was still under warranty there was no change. Queues for the tills were stretching right to the back of the shop! Nightmare for the staff. Then we get to the till and wanted to use our voucher we received. Turned out we scanned the wrong membership card! Should have been mine, not my wife's. So Carol had to re-enter ALL our shopping into the other till to make use of the voucher on my account.
