“We have had a brilliant experience using busy bees at Edinburgh Park. Our daughter (2) has always been so happy to attend, she's always in clean clothes if she's been getting messy, her nappy has always been changed many times a day (the app is reliably updated daily), the food menu is exciting and different everyday, and the staff have all been so welcoming, helpful and supportive in our daughter's experience and learning. We have even had a parents evening! When I have had things to discuss with the nursery (possible food allergy, sleep, and occasionally needing antibiotics to be administered) this has all been accommodated and dealt with very professionally. I have been very impressed with the nursery, and appreciative of the peace of mind. Our daughter attends 3 days a week, and I think she really enjoys it, talking about her friends at nursery, the things she's done and names the staff when she comes home. “My credit isn’t the best and I wasn’t sure what to expect with everyday loans in Edinburgh however I have to say the experience was almost enjoyable. The first contact I had was via the phone with Cindy who was very professional- she went through all my initial info but didn’t make it feel intrusive... very matter of fact which I liked. I was then invited to make an appointment which I did for the same day. The offices are up the stairs near Costa coffee which was the only thing that slightly put me off but I actually am mad at myself for even thinking that because the service I was given was second to none. Cindy met me by shaking my hand and then Donna cane through who is the manager there( I think I’m correct)and again introduced herself and shook my hand. It’s all very above board - credit checks are done and ID is taken and photocopied but although I couldn’t get a loan with my bank I got a loan here. There was no time at all that I felt pushed into a loan- even at the end when I was signing paperwork Cindy said to me I could think about it rather than rushing into it although we had already discussed the alternatives and whether a loan was the best option etc etc. . And even before I signed on the dotted line and certain literature was given to me to read I still did not feel forced into it/ in fact you would normally pay for the financial advice I was given. I received the monies into my account within a couple of hours and my credit card debts were paid overnight. I read reviews as people are normally honest and I also have been totally honest - it’s a professional but friendly business and if you are needing a loan I would definately recommend them even if you go and have a chat with them first to see if you are eligible. The Neuroseurgeon also referred me for a brain, neck & shoulders MRI scan at the other Spire hospital in Edinburgh Murrayfield, fast, not long waiting times, good communications etc. The NHS is totally destroyed in Scotland & is not fit for purpose.”

“Sectioned twice in 1973 - dreadful experience but three years ago in 2023 I was admitted to Eden Ward a revolutionary experience so much has changed, Spiritual centre, music therapy, craft group, excellent staff given the potentially stressful situations on the ward. Eden Ward was exactly that the Garden of Eden built round a cloister with raised beds, trees and benches for the patients to to enjoy the sun. The only fault I could find were the cigarette butts left on the ground a revolting disrespectful habit in such a beautiful place. The staff were generally speaking very caring and compassionate, some youngsters working and also training. The Consultant was very busy and it was difficult to have an appointment to see him but all in all a rewarding experience..”
