I’ve shopped in boutiques and luxury retailers all over the world — and Maja’s professionalism, warmth, and expertise were on par with, if not beyond, what you’d expect at the highest level. She demonstrated exceptional product knowledge, never pushy, always patient, and had a genuine desire to help me find the perfect pieces. She went out of her way to try and source a size for me before I leave the country. What truly impressed me was her leadership. Despite a busy shop and some tricky customer situations, Maja remained calm, organised, and in complete control. I spent quite some time there and observed how respectfully and effectively she managed both customers and staff. She answered every question clearly, handled logistics effortlessly, and maintained a sense of polished, effortless charm. “I bought a pair of runners at this store, got to my hotel in Edinburgh and found I’d left them in store (I thought at least!) I rang the store just before closing and a lovely staff member called Tracy answered. She was over the top helpful and wanted the situation solved. It was just before closing when most would just give up and go home. Tracy went beyond good service and took my details to check in the morning how we could solve the issue further. I went and checked the car again and pulled out all the luggage…and there they were! Great appreciation and thanks to Tracy! I’ve bought a few pairs of shoes here and will be back again!”

“I only went to this specific guy because the reviews, I had multiple things wrong and some upgraded I wanted on my e-bike, he is a bike shop btw and he says he doesn’t replace or modify actual electric motor parts or, obviously he could still fix your lights and stuff, anyway my whole gear system was gone, all broken from a fall, and I wanted better brakes as it’s like a moped and has too much weight for just mechanical disc brakes, I needed higher graded fluid ones, I also had a bolt missing from the back that wasn’t just a standard fit, the spirals and stuff it’s almost like a key, he had to specifically order that part from the company, my front light had an issue where it kept coming off even if I hit a pot hole he fixed that, and by pedal lever was all damaged which I honestly thought the whole sprocket would have to be replaced giving how specific a part it is, he actually didn’t even charge me for that repair even though it was like one of the actual needed repairs, with looking at items online and stuff I thought this would come to a far higher price when you include the labour costs but it was far better than I expected, I had to make sure he definitely had done all the things I wanted and sure enough he did, when everything else is costing a fortune these days it’s good to hear a number your delighted with, like anything, plumbers, electricians or lawyers when you get a good engineer keep them as your main one hopefully when it’s me or my kids or family have any issues, this is my guy, and when you find them it’s like you won’t let anyone else even attempt to repair something unless it’s your guy, but yeah, thanks for the previous reviews also this is what led me there”

“I had an amazing experience at The Island Tattoo Studio, and it was mostly because of the incredible people there. I was tattooed by the talented Ghazal Jafari, and I can’t say enough good things about her. She’s incredibly skilled with a soft touch, so my tattoo healed quickly. Plus, she’s just so kind, which made the whole experience even better. I’m so happy with the end result and showing it off to everyone! The studio itself is such a cool space. It’s quiet and professional, with a great vibe. The people who run it are super kind, and the environment is just perfect. There’s nice music, beautiful plants everywhere, and the design makes you feel really at ease. I can’t wait to go back!”

“I normally don't comment on clothing shops but a week of wearing the Meander t-shirts had me converted. Compared to other brands of similar price points, Meander's products wash well and keep shape. The t-shirts air dry overnight and don't wrinkle. They are also very comfortable to wear thanks to the small percentage of cashmere. So glad I got two colours that day. Will be returning for the fall/winter items later!”

“I want to start by saying the team here genuinely made a Christmas miracle happen. I went into the store to collect my son’s bike for Christmas, only to realise I had accidentally ordered it for Saturday the 27th — after Christmas. As you can imagine, I had well and truly messed up and was firmly in the bad books with my wife. Despite this being completely my mistake, the bike team absolutely came through. They went above and beyond by sourcing the bike from another store, bringing it in, and building it the very next day. Because of their effort, my son will have his bike on Christmas morning. Outstanding customer service, genuine care, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. I can’t thank them enough — a real Christmas miracle.”

“Went yesterday and the waiter was very friendly! My partner and I ordered caramel iced coffees which were the perfect mix of caramel and espresso ☕ the food was delicious, particularly our side salads which had the most delicious dressing. Highly recommend for lunch or a coffee break!”
