“I’m a fish supper kind of guy, so can’t really speak for anything else on the menu, but the fish here is some of the best I’ve had from a chippy. My wife also raves about the chicken goujons, they’re the best apparently. Never had an issue with service.”

“Been coming here for a few years now must admit its my go to for Chinese. Never had a bad meal yet .staff at the front off the shop are always welcoming and polite if you need something extra or a meal tweaked. They are happy to try and accommodate your needs. Plus gives my cooker a wee rest.”

“We pulled up in the nearby marina after a damp day on the Canal. A very short walk away, we 3 found Grill Delights. 2 of us had mixed grill meal and one had a curry. The people were friendly, the portions were hot and generous (meals included some salad -very welcome- and a drink), the chilli sauce had some kick. Happy to recommend take away! There are a few seats on high stools at a bar if you want to eat in. Near to Sainsburys, and at the marina is also (if open) a lady selling ices, for afters. FYI canal boaters, marina services (toilets, etc) not yet open (as of 16/9), but good berths, water and power there, and will be great when services accessible.”

“I and a few friends visited Kasbah Takeaway a couple of times last two weeks. It deserves the 5 star rating for many reasons including how friendly the staff was, large portion of the food, very reasonable price for the quality and quantity provided, clean place although there are not a lot of tables because I believe they do more take away. We mainly tried several dishes such as kabsah, karahi, more and we have also taken away a few delicious dishes to ho but will try other things next time. I highly recommend this restaurant for a visit.”

“i have ordered here so many times since 2019 that the staff members seem to sometimes recognise me - the food is delicious, portions generous, prepared quickly. i wouldn't order takeout anywhere else in edinburgh because ruchi's is always consistent. ONCE (out of many times) they missed out one of the curries (we ordered for 6), and when they sent the order again they included free vegetable pakoras. cannot say a bad word about this place, amazing stuff!! :)”

“Cannot recommend highly enough. I have an allergy to nuts and sesame seeds - Normally a nightmare for a Chinese Takeaway. Here, there are no nuts in the kitchen, and the team always make sure to not use sesame oil on my food. The food is tasty and high quality, especially the Szechuan Style Veg and Tofu. Been ordering for years, still the best in Edinburgh”

I couldn't recommend this place enough. £9.50 for chicken tikka masala and rice is a fair price considering the great flavorful and good portion size. “Michael our server was a very nice lad, genuinely happy person with great service. Sometimes at TGIs kindness can seem fake, but his was genuine. We had a great time and the food was great, and super filling. We did wait slightly longer for the first drinks to arrive, but this may have been due to the restaurant having lots of people in, for a lunch time, it isn't usually that busy. The staff coped well though. I'd be happy to come back here again.”
