They're often extremely busy, which means that it sometimes takes a bit of time to get booked in and every now and then jobs can take a bit longer to get finished. BUT it's worth the wait. Ian and his team have done numerous jobs for me over the years and the quality has always been exemplary. They use special cameras to mix the right shade of paint and Ian and his guys are extremely fussy about getting a good match and finish. “I went to 2 tyre places, none of whom could loosen the locking bolt for my alloy, despite using a breaker bar or gun as it was torqued too much (not their fault). One managed to grind and destroy the original locking wheel nut. However, KT Motors worked their magic and, in less than a minute, had all four off locking bolts off. To top it off - they refused to charge me. You don't get better service than that. Keep up the good work lads, it's always appreciated. I'll continue to recommend you to all my friends and family.”

Wouldn't have normally used a garage so far away otherwise but didnt have time to try and ring eound garages etc. I had asked about fitting a new tyre pressure sensor unit when they phoned about picking up the car. That wasn't a problem. What was the problem was AA getting back to you to approve additional work. Couldn't get through to them on the phone. Emailed them directly with a strongly worded email and heard back straight away. Surprise surprise. I know the garage had already emailed them the day before. Surely they wouldn't have emailed me back so quickly otherwise. If your needing additional work don't go through Aa smartcare. Since read similar reviews regarding this AA service. Garage however were great. Thanks guys”

They didn't try and sell me on things that didn't need doing and looking at my invoice for the work done everything is lower than the average price of these services. The car was then dropped off back to my house - after an extremely apologetic call that they'd been caught up with other work and would be later than intended. All work done in one day. “Found myself stranded in Glasgow when my car broke down there yesterday. Took it here and the team were was straight up honest and said it was so knackered it would cost more to fix it than was worth the hassle as it was in all fairness a very old car. Many mechanics would have capitalised on my dire situation as I was 300 miles away from home when this happend! But these guys helped me out by pointing me to a few hire places nearby and kept an eye on the bits in my old car whilst I looked for a new one instead. They're decent, knowledgeable, hardworking people who are professional and kind too. I only wish I could've given them a higher score than 5 stars as these guys genuinely helped me when I was in a terrible situation and thanks to them I'm back home and out of that nightmare.
