“The food in this place is excellent It's great to taste a curry that reminds me of the traditional curry sauce I loved when I was a boy. Try this for yourself, you won't be dissapointed, Also chilli dishes are excellent, made with real chilli's, one of my favorites, Salt & Chilli Munchies box is a must. Only down side is some times deliveries can be a little bit long at weekends, but I suppose this is due to the shop being so popular and busy, but the food is excellent and it is well worth waiting for. “I have used south light since I can remember my family used to meet up every Saturday and order for around 30 of us or may we more haha, orders were more than perfect lots of extras nice and hot. “On Sunday night we ordered our first home delivery from here for years - and were NOT disappointed. Punctual delivery of two piping hot starters and mains: all excellent! (Mussels in Black Bean sauce; Spring rolls, Lemon Chicken and Crispy Chilli chicken, both with boiled rice). Both meals thoroughly enjoyed!! I think some of the other reviews on here are for a different restaurant (for example, there is no Sweet and Sour Chicken on this menu). “FABULOUS, the food is amazing! It's an open kitchen so you can see exactly what's happening. I watched the staff actually making spring rolls rather than using frozen. Love that if you collect, they cook the chips when you arrive so they don't get soggy. I'll happily wait a couple of minutes for fresh chips. Be warned - they get very busy, which is not a complaint, just dont expect a delivery in 15 mins, especially at the weekend - it's always worth the wait, though.”

“Very nice and tasty meal. Service was quick, didn't have long to wait for my meal after ordering. Meal was wrapped and sealed very well and when I got home there was absolutely none of that usual seepage of sauce that you find all over the carrier bag. All in all nice wee ordering experience with no sauce seepage during travel home and a very tasty meal,”

“Tried here tonight , this place is exceptional. Called at 18.00 hrs , placed order with a very pleasant girl on the phone , was told it Could possibly be an hour and a half (acceptable, for freshly cooked food ) . Food was delivered 45 mins later and was totally delicious. Delivery driver was also very pleasant too . Well done golden leaf I will definitely be ordering again”

“Can’t fault them from what we have ordered so far. I’m actually in the hospital my son got salt n pepper chicken balls and a chicken chow MEIN.got a problem though we stay in Clydebank so when I get out hospital I won’t be able to get them again we’ve had them 3 times . Chinese we use is amazing but chicken balls are really doughy inside but taste wise lovely. Now after tasting Hong Kong’s I don’t want to go back to usual one just want to say thank you staff on fone very helpful 10/10 from Helen n Daniel”
