“Just spent 11 days in Ayr Hospital and can't praise the staff enough for their expertise over all aspects. Surgery was first class, care and attention in both Critical Care A and Station 2. “My son is just 5 years old and loves to play with my shampoo, conditioner, soap, and face wash. The 25th of July was a horrible day for me; that evening he was in the toilet and bumped his head with a hard ceramic kind of object, which I actually confused, as I thought it was the lid of the toilet seat. I have seen how blood spread inside the toilet like rain. I was traumatised by seeing that and so much panic, but I thought it was a fracture and booked a taxi. Within 15 minutes, I reached the emergency section. Alhamdulillah, I got all services properly. That duty nurse was so calm and gentle; she had checked everything and called the doctor to see the wound and then glued his deep wound. I was in more panic than my son because I had experienced so much blood at home, washed my hand, and cried. Really traumatised, but I am happy with the emergency services of Royal Hospital.”

“My evaluation of the hospital and the ENT department: I have been visiting this hospital since 2019, specifically the ENT department, and my experience with them has been wonderful and comfortable from the beginning. In 2022, I underwent a nasal polyp removal procedure, and honestly, the results were much better than I expected. I felt significantly better breathing and a significant reduction in the symptoms I had previously experienced. What I liked most was the continuous and meticulous follow-up by the doctor, who makes sure to see me every six months, or even more frequently if needed. During each visit, he performs a comprehensive examination and prescribes the appropriate medication based on my condition at the time. I sometimes suffer from seasonal allergy attacks, but thanks to the care and attention I receive from the doctor, I have learned how to deal with them better. The doctor is highly experienced and humane, which gives me great comfort and confidence. Overall, my experience with the hospital, and especially with this department, has been excellent, and I am grateful for the medical care I receive. I highly recommend this section to anyone looking for professional treatment and close monitoring of their health condition.”

I cannot adequately express how caring and thorough she was throughout my appointment. This is the first consultant I have encountered who demonstrated such genuine concern for my wellbeing. When my tests showed no evidence of a cardiac cause for my symptoms, yet my shortness of breath persisted, she immediately arranged a chest scan on the same day to investigate further. This proactive approach saved me months of waiting for a referral through my GP. Patient’s seeing her at the Stobhill are genuine so lucky because they are well looked after. “I had an abcess I went to the dental hospital who refused to help me. I called plean street dental the next day. They had me in within an hour of calling bare in mind I was not registered with them. They drained the absess and gave me a prescription for antibiotics.the dentist Mellisa called me at home the following day to make sure i was ok. I Have had a further 2 appointments.
