“I recently had a breakdown and after the RAC trying hard, but failing to get me back on the road, the car was towed to a garage specialising in electrical faults. It was a mystery… 3 days past but nothing was working and the mechanic who I’ve used before (and he’s excellent), just couldn’t get the ignition to work. It looked like the car was for the scrap at one stage - I was distraught. As a last ditch attempt, the car was towed to CAM Autos where I held little hope for a positive outcome. To my amazement, I received a call the next day saying they think they’ve deduced the issue and aim to have the car back to me in 24hrs. True to their word that’s exactly what happened and cost much less than I was expecting. I happily arrived to pick up my car and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful premises. Very professional lounge / reception area - not what I’m used to at garages and excellent customer service. The whole team are superb, friendly, professional, skilled and decent people. Thanks guys, you really saved my car. I highly recommend!”

“Great service from the team. My corsa was showing an engine warning message. After a bit of googling i descovered that thete was too much air in my fuel system. Either an air mass sensor or a fuel pump. Both options sounded expensive. I dropped my car off Monday morning and recieved a call back 2 hours later. Mechanic explained that he popped the bonnet and noticed some oil on top of the engine. Turned out that the oil filler cap was not on correctly. The team tightened, removed the error message and all is well. Great job and was not charged for this.”

Second occasion was to get rear brakes replaced, again fitted at a time and date that suited myself, was given an estimate of costs and on collection was told final cost was less than the original estimate. Should I require any additional repairs to my car then I shall be heading to one place and one place only as not only are the staff very courteous, knowledgeable and respectful of your car they are also very competitive with there pricing”

The garage might not be pretty, but they are honest, fair, do a good job and are always looking to get your car back to you asap. And it’s not just about the servicing. It’s the small touches that really count. For example, recently I have had 2 issues (1 with my car today and one with my wife’s about 6 weeks ago). Both big issues in our eyes. Called the guys. On both accounts, they told me to bring the car in right away. Within 30min on each occasion, they sorted it. Not to get paid…just lovely and surprising customers service in the motor trade that I forgot existed. That’s the sort of touches that I remember and will always make me come back to these guys first.
