“few days ago went to dicksons chemist to get prescription for my child, and the dickson chemist branch which is 222 main street, did not have the medicine was told to go to the next branch further up the road, which is 108 main street, was greeted by a young lad, took prescription, and within 5 minutes was being given the meds and advised on the notes of how to take meds, etc, the young lad, forgot his name, was very helpful as i wanted to also buy calpol for kids, but he advised on free kids paracetamol and got that arranged for me asap, i didn't even know that was possible, excellent service and very attentive staff and absolute big thanks to the young lad for offering and giving info on the paracetamol, probably first time i used this chemist, very satisfied and great service from the team at dickson chemist, thanks. keep up the great service.”

“Jackie has been a superstar! I had concerns that my last minute order wouldn’t arrive before my flight, so phoned the shop to ask about delivery times. Jackie reassured me that most packages do come early but that they also had a few items I was after in stock, so I knew what would be available to buy there if I needed to. She also took my number to call if the delivery did come on time, so I didn’t have to rush out and buy twice unnecessarily. Just had the phone call from Jackie there to say that my order is in and ready to go. This has been such a huge help and one less worry when travelling with an 11 month old! Huge thank you from us for excellent customer service.”

“I had only just bought an item when I realised it had passed the expiry date. There were no in-date items of the same type so I was offered two smaller items of the same type or a refund which I took. Joanna refunded me as well as giving me one of the smaller items as compensation. I was impressed with the level of customer care on this occasion just as I had been a previous time when the pharmacist seemed to go out of her way to help me with the issue of providing me with a receipt for the flu jag I had booked online so that I could get a refund from my employer. She had to make a phone call but nothing was too much trouble for her. I'm not quite old enough to remember the 'golden days' of customer service although I am aware of them. I feel that it still exists in this branch of Boots from what I have seen, even if not in many other places.”

Google will not accept the change despite attached pictures, so leaving them here. EDIT: Changed rating to 5 stars, as I've been having lots of issues with prescriptions lately and the staff (especially Rory, the pharmacist) have been absolute stars in helping out. Opening hours have shrunk again, though.”
