Weeks before our arrival, we were back and forth selecting the best way to spend our day together for my family of 5 adults from Canada of Clan Cameron of Erracht heritage. Matthew was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating!! Shortly after meeting us, we had an excellent banter. We all laughed a lot. Despite a mix of sun and quite miserable wind, rain and hail, Matthew made our day touring the Inverness area perfect!!”

“I needed my contact lenses for going on holiday on Wednesday. When I contacted them, i didn't have a contacts lens prescription, they arranged an appointment at the earliest convenience for me and I got my contacts delivered to my house on Saturday (within 3 days) which i was very pleased with. Also, during the appointment, I took a while putting my contacts in as i was doing it after ages and the staff member just left me to it and gave me all the time i needed which i appreciated. “I had a lovely experience in the Glasgow Buchanan Street Store when returning shoes. From first contact with Robbie and then with assistant manager Karen. I had purchased a blue pair of the Gruuv a few weeks ago , they were so comfortable that a week or so later I purchased the white ones. Unfortunately the white ones turned out to be a mismatched pair, one white the other limestone white. I had worn them a couple of days before I noticed. It wasn’t obvious in the shop lighting. I took the shoes back and they gave me a fresh pair that matched. Couldn’t have asked for better service. I have been wearing Ecco shoes from the early 90s when as a young nurse I was on my feet all day. Still love Ecco.”

“Love this place. I've been to a few barbers in my time and never returned. The feeling post-haircut was never great and I struggle. Being AuDHD and having a severe reaction to my head being touched, and the overwhelm-related post cut feelings. It's a lot. Well I'll tell you the guys do a great job, the barbers listen and they're all really welcome. It can get busy so there might be a wait sometimes. But just take that as a sign, they're worth it.”

“Specsavers in Glasgow forge shopping centre is has an intimate environment. I mean that it is small, cosy, warm and welcoming. I am in a wheelchair and this place was accessible for me. My optician was extremely thorough and treated me like a human being not a sales exhibit. The place is clean and bright. Could be doing with hand sanitizer placed at the entrance but that's just a self prederance”

“Had a fantastic stay here! - Check in was really easy even when we were hit with a slight issue. It was sorted swiftly and easily with plenty of help! - All the staff we encountered and interacted with were kind, accommodating, friendly and really made me (a person with severe anxiety) feel at ease! - the living space was a relaxed atmosphere and comfortable, great place to chill if you don’t want to be confined to your room. - The rooms are small but all the space is utilised perfectly! Everything is controlled via the hotel iPad or the app on your phone which makes it feel so fun and exciting. - The bed was huge and unbelievably comfortable with spare pillows available in the drawer. My partner who sleeps terribly in hotels, slept like an absolute log. I’ve never known her to sleep so well away from home! - Breakfast was delicious, I was especially a fan of the scrambled egg. I can also vouch for the mochas - the perfect temperature and coffee to chocolate ratio. - everything was lovely and quiet, we even had construction going on outside our bedroom window and we didn’t hear a sound from them. What I will say is if you do plan to come here with someone else, make sure it’s someone your comfortable with because, while not crystal clear, the shower has frosted glass so you can see a relatively clear silhouette of whoever is showering. And the only negatives I can say is the water temperature was a little hard to manage at times but it wasn’t anything scandalous and one of the lifts wasn’t working which was completely fine but definitely slowed things down a smidge. But honestly none of these things negatively impacted my stay so I maintain my 5 stars. We will be back!”

“I stayed as a solo business traveller on the 22 - 24 October and was very pleasantly surprised by how friendly the young staff were from the reception desk to the bar and restaurant. They went above and beyond to have a chat, hold my bags, direct me to bus stops. etc. They were genuinely warm and welcoming and made it feel like a four star experience. The bar and lounge area are very comfortable for a business traveller looking to do some work while having a drink or bite to eat. It's a cosy environment and the veggie burger was quite tasty and generous. While the rooms are a bit basic, the bathrooms are well maintained and the friendliness of the staff and downstairs bar area more than made up for that. I would definitely return again - thanks all.”

“Very nice and QUIET hotel located between George Square and Argyle Street. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the rooms were clean and well kept. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are available for free whereas breakfast is optional for a daily fee in advance or on the day. We opted out of breakfast and used one or other of the nearby cafés. Glasgow Queen Street and Glasgow Central Stations are within 10 to 15 minutes walk and the shopping delights of Argyle Street or Buchanan Street are close by. This us the nicest hotel we have stayed in in Glaagow for a while and we will be back!”
