I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious. Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. Not only is the food spot on, but the portions are generous, so you always get a satisfying meal for a good price. “so peak, they're a bit expensive but they give you freebies sometimes, Donner kebab is top notch, delivery is very quick (ive had a kebab in 12 minutes before), pizza is good, chips are good. The cheesy chips here have a layer of cheese on the bottom and the top so its better than most others. Nothing to complain about, and the guys in the shop are really chill. I main this place, it's easily the best takeaway round here”

“Visited as a family of 5 and had a truly amazing evening ! Lively atmosphere, well thought-out decor and incredibly friendly staff made us feel right at home . Ordered a mixture of dishes and each nicer than the other, no question on quality of care or presentation. Not to mention the waiters going above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs. The experience matched the last one we had, glad to see they’ve upheld their high standards - looking forward to bringing some friends and visiting again soon, would highly recommend!”

From the initial telephone query, through our arrival, our food, to leaving everything about the evening was fantastic. Great food in a great atmosphere and while some may say that the menu is limited, it is really a case of doing a smaller number of dishes very well. I only wish we lived closer as we would most definitely make it a regular thing.”

“Lovely meal, I had the steak wrapped in bacon stuffed with Italian blue cheese. It was super tasty. Lots of gluten free options available as they have gluten free pasta and most of meats could be done gluten free. Decent price, really enjoyed it, would go again.”

“Reserved a table and was seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was inviting with a modern style to it. The staff were friendly and very helpful, but a little slow at times. We were seated in the outside glasses area but I felt somewhat uncomfortable the whole time I was there as the tables were so close, we could hear everyone else's conversations, so felt unable to talk private ourselves. The food arrived very fast and was hot and fairly tasty. Overall, a nice experience, but was room for some improvements. Aside from that, an enjoyable experience.”

“My colleague and I went to Al Porto Italian restaurant on Thursday and were blown away by our food! The restaurant has a really nice, chilled out vibe, but still holds a level of class. I had the duck liver to start followed by the best risotto I've ever tasted. My colleague had the garlic prawns to start and the spaghetti carbonara for his main. All of the food was lovely”

“We had our work's Christmas party at Berts. Charlie Berry was absolutely amazing (as were the other staff members). They helped in every way possible and really went above and beyond - no question was too big or too small. I would 100% recommend them for any private party and the food was absolutely delicious. Charlie really made what could have been a potentially stressful event really easy and smooth sailing. Thank you so much!”

“Breakfast here the other morning. Had the big one and it didn’t disappoint, good bacon and very flavourful sausages were a highlight as it’s the quality of the bacon and sausage that makes a breakfast for me. Coffee was good as you would expect from an Italian. Certainly would recommend”

“All I can say is by far the best pizza place in the area! Every time I have ordered they follow every special requirement to the letter (we're a picky bunch!) and we're never dissapointed. The pizzas are perfectly baked, with generous toppings of fresh, flavoursome ingredients and arrive piping hot to our address. I opt for one of the meal deals when we have the kids back from uni or friends/family over and the value for money is exceptional. Great customer service, great speedy food, easy on the pocket...what's not to love? Highly recommended *****”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for their special Valentine’s set menu, and it was a truly delightful experience. Each course was delicious. We had calamari and prawns to start, gnocchi with seabass for me and for my wife the lobster ravioli. My son loves the fudge cake and ice cream. The staffs were attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.”

“I am vegan so not too many options for me, but what they did have for me was delicious! The spicy tomato garlic bread was very hot, and the staff were very understanding of my dietary restrictions and did not put garlic butter on it. Prices are also very affordable, only £9 for a meal for me and my wife. I would definitely go there again.”

“The only place we go to for Pizza local, always delicious hot fresh food, never lets us down and the staff and lovely!! Home made burgers are the best too! No sloppy dog food burgers here! 100% beef! Stroganoff is belting too! I would like to suggest a loyalty scheme though as you don’t do any deals or offers. But you get for what you pay for and we will always return.”

“I have had one of Apron strings meals to take out, for the last three Wednesdays and every one of them has been delicious, full of flavour and so easy to heat up. Very reasonably priced too. I have also had 3 meat and cheese platters recently for three birthdays. They make a great birthday present and my family members have started to look forward to receiving a platter for special occasions, they always go down so well. Thankyou Paul and Jess for providing such a great service.”
