“We arrived friday for a 2 night stay for a wedding locally. From the minute we arrived the staff were amazing so friendly and just couldnt do enough for us. Our room was beautiful spotlessly clean too. Food friday night was amazing & breakfast both days was really nice. Thankyou so much everyone especially the two ladys who appeared to be managers fri & then sat/sun you are amazing at your job and have great staff”

“Our guests are calling it, “The best kids party they have ever attended” We have just returned home from our daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was great, all the kids and adults had a great time. There’s so much choice and something to keep everyone entertained, I think the pricing for exclusive booking is more than reasonable and being able to take your own buffet is a nice touch. I’m sure this will be an ongoing party spot for us and our guests for years to come.”

“There were 6 of us who dined in the restaurant on a busy Saturday evening in December. We had a very sociable round table and the staff were, friendly, efficient and relaxed. The food was hot and very tasty. A perfect fun dining experience.”

“The most beautiful little wine bar I have ever seen. Filled with beautiful apothecary furniture, stone vases and olive trees to sit in here on a sunny day you could be anywhere in the world. “I often come here with my mum. The foods really good. I would recommend the burgers and the sandwiches are good with side chips. Their cappuccinos are lovely and a good size. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s got a really relaxing atmosphere and it’s very clean with bistro style setting.”

From the moment we arrived, Andy was welcoming, kind, and full of dry wit – the kind that makes you feel right at home. Security often gets overlooked. Not today! Andy was professional, friendly, and genuinely lovely to chat with. His warm and approachable manner really stood out – even if he insists he’s the “grumpy one.” It’s clear he takes pride in what he does, and it made our experience all the better. So here’s to the door staff – the first face you see and the quiet guardians of a good night out. Thanks, Andy – you’re a star, even if you try to hide it behind that serious face!”

“We called on Sunday on the off chance we could get some food between rugby games at the local RUFC. Greek food on a Sunday was a welcome surprise for a family who don't do the traditional carvery. Service was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere from the other people made it a lovely pub to be in. They also have the best Halloween decorations I've ever seen in a pub! If we are ever over that way again, we will definitely pop in!”

We all have the hallumi cheese starter which was great, I had the chicken roast dinner which was lovely, my wife had the steak pie which she really enjoyed. “First visit today on our way back home, lovely welcome excellent beer and the food was brilliant. Would definitely recommend the beef in beer pie, the veg selection was excellent and the Bakewell tart for dessert with ice cream was superb, five stars thank you.”

“Love it here very friendly and accommodating. Jacko and Jacci are very welcoming to one and all. Was back in the first evening they opened after the first lockdown, would be in more often if they go to summer opening hours this year, am only round the corner now. Jacci did a naughty when I turned 42, she told everyone it was my 40th and laid on a lovely buffet spread. Got three 40th cards that night and it made up for a 40th in lockdown then my 41st too cos we were at the dying days of the final lockdown so no bookies for the grand national”

“Excellent meal we've been twice, friendly staff. Clean tables and chairs, neither sticky. Cutlery and condiments clean. Recommend highly definitely go back”

“We stayed a night after picking up a camper van. (Hence no stars for rooms - it's not applicable). The facilities are great - spacious shower cubicles and nice hot water! The site has good space between pitches and they have a black chicken who guards reception and 3 turkeys who are free ranging across the site. There are moorhens around the pond and the site is in a country location. The warden was really helpful. He lent us a kettle as we had no gas and was great, with advice and offers of help. A BIG thank you to him. Also we chatted with another staff member who was really nice and very friendly. Take aways can be delivered (we needed one as we had no gas!) - we had Indian but I believe there was also Chinese and Kebabs available. We enjoyed our meal & ate in the bar where there is TV. Shame we were only there for the night”

“Wow!! Absolutely amazing, we've tried many country pubs and none come close to the Falcon. We both had the Sunday roast and it was unbelievable, everything was hot, fresh and plenty of it, we just ran out of stomach space. We've already booked in again, but with our family this time. The staff were so nice, happy and attentive and what a great atmosphere, so glad we have tried the falcon, can't wait to be back.”

“I called this morning to make a late booking for a table of seven, and I’m so glad they managed to squeeze us in! The Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious and great value for money. The customer service was fantastic throughout. A special mention to the young man behind the bar—he was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!”

“What a fabulous restaurant, friendly welcome. The mezze platter starter was really delicious and the bread served with it was so good. Mains were all tasty and massive portions, our dogs were very pleased with the leftovers we took home. Exceptional value for money too. Will be going back again soon”
