“Called with a late request to be seen for serious knee injury after mountain bike crash. The receptionist was very helpful and said come straight down. Unable to drive, due to the injury, I got a taxi, which arrived much later than they promised, but still the receptionist said I'd still be seen. I made a point of thanking all the receptionists as I passed on the way to see the Doctor, who was very helpful too. Been with this practice for about 20 years now.”

“Amber at reception has been extremely patient and helpful on multiple occasions when supporting my daughter — he always goes the extra mile and it really makes a difference. Dr Hankin has also been amazing, not only providing excellent care but also escalating my daughter’s case when 111 had given poor advice. I really appreciate the time and attention shown. The only area that could be improved is the phone system — the waiting time can be very long, and the call-back option is currently only offered to those at positions 9–10 in the queue. It would be so much better if this was available from around position 2–3, as it’s a great option for those who can’t sit listening to hold music for a long time.”

“Popped in at 0900hrs this morning (24/11/2025) and given an appointment for 1500hrs same day. Saw Dr Fardon who listened patiently to my complaint and dealt with me to my complete satisfaction with empathy and humour. Did not rush me nor gave me the impression he was itching to get to his next patient. My family and I have been with this practice since coming to Tingley in 1990, never had any complaints/problems with any of the varied staff over the years and on occasions have walked in with no appointment or prior phone call and been seen within minutes. Treat people how you would wish to be treated, works wonders! Hasta la próxima”

I have a fair few health conditions and been struggling with various things. Dr Durkin and Emily the prescriber apsaloutely lovely so so compassionate towards my needs and these 2 staff have really gone out of their way to help me and I'm very greatful!! Thank you for always taking the time out to listen to me without feeling like I dont have a voice. And thank you for caring so much. The reception staff are also so compassionate, patient and understanding as well especially Avril always goes out of her way to help as much as she can and always takes the time out to listen. “Extremely professional and understanding. Medical staff have done a good job and little problems that could become complaints are usually dealt with. This was as a user for more than one service. Unlike the rest the Leeds York mental health services NHS trust, staff are directly contactable and don’t mind being contacted directly by email. Don’t have to go through the useless PALs liability buffer like every other service in the trust. Simpler and faster and probably cheaper too. An example to the rest of the trust.”

“My apple watch detected that I was experiencing high heart rates. I felt off but not ill. On Monday, 08:00, 5/08/2024, I entered my details in Patches. At 9:30, I received a text for a telephone appointment that afternoon which resulted in n appointment with a GP,08:40, Tuesday, 06/08/2024. After consultation, I was asked to wait till a room would be available for an E.CG.and blood tests. All of these were concluded resulting another G.P consultation. Resulting in a heart condition being diagnosed, full clear explanation, medication prescribed with benefits and possible side effects explained and two further appointments made. This treatment along with lovely people conducting themselves in their jobs with professional attitudes, kindness, caring and supportive given this was a bit alarming for me. Excellent surgery and patient/ client care from start to finish. I and my family have been registered with this surgery since 1993 and have only ever experienced openness, great and effective care and always , always treated with kindness. Thank you so much for everything.”

“This is my new surgery and I had my first GP visit last week Wednesday. The surgery was spacious and very clean. My mobility scooter decided to stop working as I was about to leave the surgery. The nurse practitioner was a beautiful, lovely and caring person. She tried assisting me with my mobility scooter. I then met the beautiful ,lovely manager when she came to assist me too. I thought my scooter battery was dead but my scooter had died and never started. I was at the surgery a long time waiting to charge my battery. The beautiful lady at the front desk came and offered me some water and a snack. I was so appreciative for the love and assistance I received from all the staff, I am came in contact with. I miss my old surgery in Leeds but I am happy to join this new surgery.. Thank you to all the staff.”

Which has been excellent. I’ve always felt listened to and taken seriously. Medication reviews are carefully done, not hurried, with several follow up meetings. “I cannot believe all the negative comments about this practice. I have rarely had a problem, yes it can be difficult at times to get an appointment but if you explain your problem politely i have usually been offered an alternative. I find the reception staff friendly and efficient never ever rude. I think you get back what you give out so be polite and friendly and willing to accept something different. The nurses ( especially donna) have always followed through on treatments etc. making sure referrals have been acted on. I wish my son had this practice instead of the way worse one he attends. I would recommend it to anyone.”
