Although many orders came in, and it seemed tl be only him on front of house and back. Which increased my wait time a lot. Pizza hir should hire at least another person. You cannot have one person serving customers but also making the pizzas and cooking them for the other customers.”

“Bought a Velerup wardrobe from the york store . It took a couple of weeks to arrive I was pleasantly surprised at the quality as I hadn't seen it in store . Quite heavy solid build and good instructions (took two to lift it into place once the back was on . Draw runners were metal not cheap plastic ones from other suppliers. Would recommend to anybody .”

“We had El Kantina as the caterer for our wedding reception food. They were an absolute hit, thanks to the incredible Mexican food served from the coolest horse trailer—we had so many guests rave about it! As the bride and groom, we barely had a moment to ourselves and missed grabbing a plate during the night, gutted. But Laura, absolute legend, tucked a box away for us to enjoy later, that we were very thankful for! The food was delicious, the vibe spot-on, would 100% recommend!”

“My husband and I I went for dinner and had an incredible experience. Dishes are many and varied and all seem to be mouth-watering. We ordered gorgonzola-and-nuts gnocchi and mushroom ravioli and they were both absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was great, as was the service. “I honestly don't know how they can produce such high quality food as a buffet, with so many available dishes. All the meat was tender, even the beef. They had some unusual dishes to try, like eel sushi, which was delicious and apples cooked in wine, which was the star of the show, in my opinion. Very friendly staff too. “I have been here twice this year, both times the food was excellent and the staff were lovely. The restaurant itself is nice and has a great view of the river. What more can you ask for? As well as this I am lactose intolerant which can cause problems when eating out, however at this restaurant they have an entire vegan menu and they will adapt pizzas to make them lactose free. The pizza dough recipe here does not contain milk. The staff here take intolerances seriously and are very helpful when you have questions. In my experience, some restaurants act inconvenienced or do not understand when you have a dietary requirement, but I can eat at this restaurant with confidence as I know that the food will not upset my stomach whatsoever which is rare as I have a stomach condition on top of lactose intolerance. They have amazing vegan garlic bread, even my partner was impressed with it. The vegan cheese that they use is really good too, unlike most places. This is our go-to restaurant now in York and I highly recommend it.”

“I visited the Pizza Hut near the Shambles in York for the lunchtime buffet. There weren't many people there but Milly, the waitress, came straight over with a happy smile, got me seated and helped me with the QR code. I explained I was a veggie and she ordered a pizza to be added to the buffet and then let me know so I didn't miss out. She was attentive, caring and made me feel good. It is a rare thing to see in the modern world of fast food. Anyway, I really hope that the York branch stays open through the current climate. Thankyou.”
