I daren't enter before but under the new ownership it gives off a really welcoming cosy modern vibe without overreaching so it can be an 'any night of the week' stop in. A warm welcome from the owner, who even brought our drinks out to us outside and a good set of staples on tap. As per the last review, yes the sign re: masks is pretty unmissable, (and maybe doesn't need to state the bit about exemptees...) but I see what they are trying to do given the place's past clientele... Everything very clean and freshly decorated. We eagerly await the 'small plates' food they have planned. So glad it's on our doorstep. Thanks for turning this 'no go zone' into something we can confidently step foot in now! We'll be back! :-)”
