“I recently visited Loake in Leeds to purchase some dress shoes for my friends wedding. This was my first time purchasing shoes from Loake and I will definitely be returning in the future. After getting over the shock of my small shoe size (usually size 9, which in Loake size translates to a 7), I tried on a lovely pair of Buckingham shoes and my bruised ego was instantly restored. The service from Matt was impeccable throughout, lending some useful fashion advice in addition to helping me choose a suitable shoe. The store was quite quiet when I attended, so I also got to chat with Morgan whose character added to the experience. Lovely pair of chaps, cannot recommend their service enough!”

“I have had my teeth straightened with Invisalign at Beyu, as well as hygienist and a crown fitted. They have been amazing from start to finish, the entire team fills you with confidence and reassures you every step of the way with realistic expectations. I had been to 2 other dentists about Invisalign and the dentists never gave me the reassurance that Beyu did. Pricing was discussed at the beginning and realistic variations that could occur so I had no surprises during my treatment. Couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“Well, I didn't know what to expect when we came to this place. I was with my friend and it was dark, we were coming for a presentation and the Satnav kept saying it was closed! We got there and already there were lots of cars so we parked up and ventured in. Okay, so this was not what we expected. We had come for a Projecting Bereavement meeting so any ideas of what to expect were quickly gone. LS14 Trust is warm, friendly, bright, full of colour, homely, very welcoming and at the time was full of people wanting to listen an learn yet perhaps also had their own stories to share. LS14 Trust is an amazing place. If I could give it 6 or 7 stars I would have done. It was quite full for this presentation yet this was the perfect venue, no where else would have been good enough. Everyone got a hot drink and there was beef stew or veggy curry for those that wanted it, and some lovely cakes too. Plus given the sensitivity of the subject there was lots of little things there and about to help focus the mind and plenty of photographs in support. There's a lot of hard work gone on here to make this LS14 Trust what it is today. It is nothing short of amazing. There is something there for everyone and the people of Seacroft are extremely lucky and rightly proud to have this wonderful place. Those responsible certainly deserve public recognition for all their hard work and dedication! Congratulations and thank you. I'll be back!”

“My friends and I came to see the afternoon performance of a Christmas Carol on 14/12/25. This is one of my favourite films so the performance had a lot to live up too! It did not disappoint. Reece Dinsdale as Scrooge was outstanding. The whole cast was excellent as were the props (especially the ghost of Christmas future) All in all a lovely, entertaining afternoon. There was absolutely nothing to disappoint us. Thank you to all concerned in the production and the staff of the playhouse.”

Not only is it just THE most beautiful venue (our guests couldn't get over it!) but Sam and the team are just beyond words. They were there to help at every stage, suggesting suppliers and giving general advice on top of helping with more venue-specific things. They did all the set-up, all the take-down, they were so accommodating to every request, and so friendly and welcoming at every point in the planning process. We didn't have to worry about a single thing on the day because we just knew, and could fully trust the team to take care of everything. Everyone we've spoken to and every member of staff we've dealt with has been a delight and so happy to help, we genuinely don't have a single spot of negative feedback. It also feels so special that Left Bank isn't just a wedding venue, so we can return as much as we like for drinks or events and re-live our day. Thank you to the entire team (and especially Sam) for making our day a reality. You're all the absolute best!”

“Good size. Not absolutely massive but cosy and a good number of seats. Well decorated. Well maintained, doesnt feel like its falling to bits like some theatres do. Good temperature (it was cold outside, we were warm enough for coats off but not sweating), good sound and view. Good location -easy for taxis to drop off but still near city centre”

Different groups that you can get involved in and take forward but you need to be careful and stick to your principles and be very careful as to what you are doing. But there are lots of activities going on, so look around ask the questions and I am sure you will find something that will intrest you, And you will enjoy your time.”
