“I needed a competition clutch set up for a Talbot Sunbeam Lotus rally car. This is a 1979 car which makes it a little different. After a chat with Mick on the phone I took the existing pressure plate, flywheel, clutch plate and release bearing up to CG in Leeds. After a good discussion about what I needed Mick offered to make a paddle clutch plate to suit my vehicle and we stuck with the standard pressure plate to make frequent changes easier. Picked up the new plate only a day later, fabulous quality of work (and as an engineer I know what I'm talking about). It's not so common these days to find a company who have the expertese to interpret your requirements and the skills to then produce the high quality product. This company is a real 5 star find recommended to me by a fellow rally driver that had a similar experience dealing with CG Motorsport.”

They couldn't repair the problem there and then but took the wheel off, put the spare on ( thereby keeping me mobile) and said they'd phone me when ready. This they did and very promptly too. I didnt understand the damage I was doing to the paint work until I went to A&R, my paint work was all swirled! Was a mess!! Luckily Alex managed to restore it back to new! Since then I've not gone anywhere else!! I've also had the interior detail done and if I'm completely honest I don't even think the showroom cars were as clean as mine was! 100% RECOMMENDED!! I would NOT take my car anywhere else but here now. Great service, the guy even came to my place of work!! All for a very reasonable price too! Definitely ch eck him out!!”
