“Amazing Greek breakfast with bougatsa (custard pastry) and the traditional spinach and fetta (Spanakopita). Truly amazing food and coffees. May have to go back for dinner!”

“Yummy food, variety in menu and the most aesthetic halal breakfast/brunch around. I've been here several times over the years - and can say with confidence I have never faulted the food, it is always warm and tasty, full of flavour. Nice variety of things on the menu too. The service has always been good, they try their best to accommodate even when busy. However, the booking system does need to be more efficient, rather than messaging on Instagram. They forgot to add my name down but quickly accommodated. Also I would be excited to see them expanding to a bigger place, as it does feel cramped and tight sometimes when full. That being said, the decor and vibe is really nice though. Excited to see you guys expand - there's a gap for you here in Sheffield!”

“Golden acre is a beautiful park, albeit with some dodgy parking. But the tea room is gorgeous, sit on the terrace if the weather permits or inside the conservatory style tea rooms. Sandwiches are great, good bread and fresh ingredients and accompanying salad. The coffee was good however the flat white was not as strong as my personal taste would prefer. I have not tried the breakfast menu as it stops at 11 or 11:30 and I've only arrived just after. 5 stars if this was good and served all day.”

“Highly recommend for catering. They did the catering for my Uncle’s wake and it was fab. They were really accomodating when I asked to swap items around and the price was really competitive. “Absolutely fantastic little cafe for Coeliacs - dropped in today for the first time and was really happily surprised. Staff were lovely, the granola is amazing and have just finished the takeaway Rocky Road. So nice to be able to eat somewhere and feel safe and welcome. 10/10 would definitely make a bee-line for it whenever I'm in the area.”

“Attended on Bank Holiday Monday April 2025, service was excellent, the menu choice is amazing, there is something for everybody, I went for the Burger of which there are multiple choices, mine was a freshly made burger accompanied with Pulled pork, lovely side salad and amazing chips. It is refreshing to eat a burger that is freshly made and cooked to order (medium rare in my case) All reasonably priced and the fresh cooked food and fine service means I shall be definitely returning. As an aside all the party I was with (7 in total) had same views. Cracking place and would recommend, you will not be disappointed.”

“Great place to chill , meet, let kids play indoors and out, enjoy nature! Sit comfortably in or out, great ice cream and milk shakes ( as you'd hope at milk churn lol). The afternoon tea is great, food and value. Just good for a quick stop off even, for a nice scone and cuppa.. my little reward driving back from Seacroft hosp. My little nieces, love it too, nice environment, they always make nice new friends. Perfect to enjoy on a sunny day, and relax. Enjoy! X”

“This is one of the nicest and most pleasant little tea-shops i have been too. It's great. Make sure, you have cash or an app for a bank transfers, as they don't want to pay the "sales tax" that the banks take on every contactless payment. And, this might help them deliver the brilliant and friendly service, that they do, at very modest prices. I will do my best to hurry back for a full English next time!”

“Love this place. Meet every week with a large group of friends. Always a table reserved for us. Staff even know our drink orders too!!! Have also had a delicious Sunday lunch and have attended their monthly jazz sessions.”

“Had afternoon tea here today with my mum before some retail therapy. It was absolutely gorgeous. The sandwiches were soft and fresh, the scones were superb and the little cakes on the top tier were soft and fluffy, cheese cake fantastic. As much tea as your belly can take. It was a lovely treat and would definitely do it again.”

“Very lovely place to spend your afternoon, very fair prices and eveything is very presentable. The place is very well kept and was very clean when I visited. The staff was very friendly and explained the difference between the different drinks that they serve. I would recommend anyone to go take a look and have a nice cuppa of whatever you fancy. Lots of seating, family friendly and also OK if you want to spend some quality time with a book and a hot drink.”
