Was able to browse slowly and then the next free staff engaged with us, she asked if she can be of any help and I advised that we had browsed online prior to coming and she was able to show us the different type options and touch , feel, open under store for full experience feel. It was great to visit in store and saw each model of bed and we then selected, proceed to purchase a large double. Though it was close to closing by then the staff did not rush but took their time to ensure we had all that was require to complete our bed purchase and the accessories. “My partner and I fancied a late night Thai takeaway and didn’t expect to find anything open, let alone of decent quality. We were so wrong! The service was fast, the curries were absolutely delicious, and they even kindly threw in an extra rice and prawn crackers. The food was all so fresh and the king prawns are to die for. “Came back in September 2025. Surprise was the mackerel and potatoes stuffed in crumbs which is kind of like a scotch egg but without eggs. The sea bass was a small portion though. Overall, we still live the food and service is great. We ordered four dishes and beer each, cost about £51 in total. Back in 2024: First time we giving a restaurant five stars for food, service and atmosphere. This place changed my perception of Sri Lanka food as my ignorant self thought was only thick curry similar to Indian. The food is top notch, refreshing curry that I finished every drop of, huge hake mallum is just something extraordinary which I've never tasted before. Must order the mallum and king prawn curry. Even the side dish of rice is so soft and fluffy, I am going to ask them where I can get the rice. Service is attentive and friendly, and seating is comfortable, great interior design. I'd go on but best that more people try this place for themselves. Totally worth paying the price. We ordered four tapas, a side and a dessert and we had already overeaten.”

“Olivia has completed several different jobs for me and my family now. Her work is meticulous and high quality. She has an artist's eye and is also highly skilled in the craft of upholstery. Both the items below were tired old bits of furniture and have been revitalised with a new lease of life. The new teal covers are fabulous, and the collapsing cushions of the sofa and armchair have been plumped up to their former glory. Olivia has also covered a 3 piece suite for a family member, and made some great breakfast stool cushion covers.”

The tick list includes: Good choice of real ales; dog friendly; real fire; friendly and enthusiastic staff; excellent quality food; broad choice menu; great value; homely decorations for the Christmas season. We were lucky to be there for the Early Bird Christmas Menu... 3 home cooked courses with all the trimmings. All courses well cooked, very tasty and great quality. We will be back... we didn't need to book this time as it was a wet and windy Wednesday lunchtime, but I think we'll book our next visit to avoid disappointment.”

“Went on a Saturday lunch in a group of 4 so were lucky enough to try most of the menu. Every single thing we had was so tasty! Even the potatoes! One of the best restaurants I've been to in a while. We even got all 5 desserts as we couldn't choose :) only feedback I would give is the homemade crumpet had a little too much cheese on and needed something sharp to balance it. Still an 11/10 will be back! Thank you for a lovely birthday meal!”
