“Brilliant venue, we were there for a 90s rave and it was great, really friendly bar staff and security team too. Great place.”
“We go regularly to Pizza Fella. We haven't yet found a better pizza place in Leeds City Centre and I don't think we will. The staff are friendly, the menu is unfussy and reasonably priced. These are proper Neopolitan style pizzas, with simple but really high quality toppings, and every bite is absolutely delicious. It's not somewhere to linger for hours, but for a quick, really tasty meal, it's one of the best options in Leeds.”
“Just returned from our 2nd holiday booked with Joe - we did a cruise and stay in Caribbean and during our 2nd week at the hotel we hadn't been given our transfer details and I was struggling to find out who to contact. Email to Joe who responded very quickly with all the details we needed - something we wouldn't have gotten so easily if we had booked with the 'big boys'. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joe, he works extremely hard to ensure he gets you the best deal but it's not just the monetary side of the holiday it's the direct personal service that is invaluable. Thanks Joe we are extremely grateful.”
“We recently used One world Travel for our holiday to Poland and they went above and beyond our expectations. They kept in touch, where always friendly and happy to help. They made everything as clear as possible, and where if something went wrong what to do We've had a nightmare with another travel agent in the past and the experience couldn't be more different. We fully intent to book our future holidays with one world travel - shout out to the Beverley office too, the fact these teams work so well together is really commendable”
“Beautiful building, and a great venue for the choir performance we saw. I imagine it would be a great wedding venue or for a party.”
“First trip with Blue Sky to the Edinburgh Tattoo. Wonderful time. Thank you. Great driver Chris. Will go again. Booked for Chatsworth in November”
“Great independent coffee place in the heart of Ossett town. The hot chocolate was chocolatey (I know it sounds daft but unfortunately not many places get it right!), delicious and was just the right amount of sweet. They have a large selection of cakes as well if required.”
“A brilliant spot in Elland for breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake. We popped in on the off chance without booking a table, as we needed a lunch break after moving into the area. They managed to accomodate the six of us with no issues and the server was great. The flat white was a beautiful roast, really smooth and well made, and the hot chocolates were rich and delicious. We had the pancake stack, eggs, and festive sanwiches all cooked perfectly and full of flavour!! It was great quality of food and drinks in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Friendly service too — we’ll definitely be back soon. I already have my eye on several items on the menu. - I keep popping by for a takeaway flat white when i am passing, the coffee roast is unreal, best ive had.”
“A fantastic afternoon spent walking around the grounds, the woods and the gardens before strolling around the Wildlife Park which has a great variety of animals in spacious enclosures. Rounded off with a visit to the House and taking in the history and artefacts of a very well maintained manor. Lovely!”
“From the warm greeting at the front gate and the sight of that big red bow on the entry arch, I knew I was in for a special treat at Harewood House for their Christmas display. I started with a walk around the grounds and loved the spectacular view of the house from the field near the bottom cafe. I enjoyed a walk around the lake and was enthralled by the walled garden and its sheer size, even if the gardens were mostly fallow. The Stupa is something to see and behold, as is the story behind the erection of it. Finally, it was time to enter the house and to see the Christmas decorations and room displays in all their unadulterated glory! No detail was left untold and the sights and sounds were truly wonderful. Sumptuous is one word that comes to mind when trying to describe the depth and beauty of each and every room. But just as wonderful as the displays was the warmth and enthusiasm of the volunteers who were there. They helped explain many of the details and were experts at taking photos for me! Be sure to step out on the lovely terrace garden beside the cafe in the house for beautiful views of the grounds. I had the most wonderful time at Harewood House and would strongly recommend visiting it not only at Christmas, but any time of the year.”

“The atmosphere is effortlessly cool—think retro décor, cozy booths, and a buzzing outdoor terrace perfect for summer evenings. The food is awesome, especially their loaded fries, burgers, and brunch options. The drinks menu is creative, with a great selection of craft beers and cocktails—the Espresso Martini is a winner. What really makes this place stand out is the friendly staff and the relaxed yet lively vibe. It’s ideal for catching up with friends, weekend brunch, or even just a chilled drink after work. The music is always on point too, with DJs and events adding to the fun.”
“An unexpected stop for breakfast this morning turned out to be a lovely little find! The décor inside is really nice, and the staff gave us such a warm welcome. We sat upstairs and ordered a full English breakfast and a full vegetarian breakfast — both were freshly cooked and delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long at all. I’d definitely recommend this charming spot!”
“I don't get into Leeds much, but when I do I always enjoy a pint at the D&D. Friendly bar staff, reasonable prices, good music and nice clientele. The beer garden at the back is brilliant too. A lot of people don't know about that. Fun times.”
“A proper, old school pub. Does the job it is supposed to do in providing friendly service in a setting that has been preserved very well over the decades. A fantastic selection of very well kept beers and a timetable of events keeps this place as fresh as it was 30 years ago, when I first visited. It's unique, a treasure, and needs to be supported or we will be left with only identikit city centre boozers.”
“Fantastic food great atmosphere very friendly staff”
“fantastic boozer. stayed in local area for a few days and this was recommended. lovely decoration. did not stay in the rooms so i cannot comment. But they look lovely. very welcoming.”
“Always have a delicious meal when we come here. My partner is obsessed with the country fried steak. It’s super yummy. I had the mac and cheese on this occasion and it filled me up. They do such good comfort foods and great cocktails to go with”
“Very informative & helped us plan our day.”
“A great place to spend a morning or afternoon. Free parking and lots of walks and trails to enjoy. Staff were really friendly and enthusiastic, and (shoutout to Elizabeth!) gave us a basic run down of the history of the house and the story of Bagshaw on arrival which was a lovely touch! Three rooms to explore downstairs and three rooms upstairs, my favourite being the Eygpt room! Entry is free, and gift shop is reasonably priced.”
“Lovely pub with a fantastic newly decked beer garden. Great atmosphere and friendly service. We didn't eat so I'm unable to comment on the food unfortunately. Would definitely recommend and return.”
“Had a great short stay at Hebden Townhouse. Comfortable, quiet and spacious room on the top floor, lovely bathroom and great continental breakfast. Thanks for hosting us for our quick visit to the town!”
“Excellent value for money. Full English breakfast with toasted currant teacakes and a tea for less than a tenner.”
“Best salad boxes ever! Lovely food all round and nice friendly staff!”
“This gem of an inn used to be my local then sadly had to close, iI is now opem again and I must say that the old atmosphere is still there, a pub that has live music Fridays, keep up the excellent work. Now under new management.”
