“We highly recommend BOB tours! We spent an amazing day out with Mark on the Yorkshire Dales National Park tour. We loved being in a smaller group, and unlike those big bus tours, we were able to understand perfectly everything Mark said through his microphone. The tour guides at this small company build the tours around key stops with added elements based on their own experience and knowledge of the area. This meant that our guide was able to rearrange stops according to the weather that day and add in a few stops based on what he learned about the interests of our particular group. Aside from the incredible beauty of the area, we also enjoyed learning from Mark’s deep well of knowledge to improve our understanding of the history, culture and economy of the area. Our one regret was that we didn’t think to have cash on hand to tip our tour guide. Tips are not expected but if you take one of these tours you will see how hard the guides work and appreciate the thoughtful personal touches they bring to your experience. We think you will want to thank your guide with a tip!”

We tasted jambalaya, beautiful Syrian food, amazing cheeses and delicious Portuguese pastries. A great way to see York and experience something different. Highly recommend.”

“Brilliant place. We went along in time for one of the two daily tours, and as part of that we got to learn about the awful lives some of the donkeys have endured before being rescued - some of the stories are really upsetting, but that's the reality of these animals lives and just highlights how important places like Wonky Donkey are. During the tour, we got taken into the fields to meet the donkeys up close, which was such a lovely experience - they're so friendly and affectionate. There's a great little cafe on site, and plenty of parking. All the staff were wonderful and keen to tell us about their work - will definitely be back”

“I met with the lovely Ellie about 6 weeks ago sat down with her and told her about my family holiday I wanted to book for 2026 ! She took down all my preferences , all inclusive daytime flights destinations etc , I left her to do the work for me and come back with suggestions ! She duly came back listened to what I said about them then fine tuned until she rang me and said I’ve found it!! I rushed in and booked straight away ! To be up close and to be able to fly such magnificent birds of prey is a truly amazing experience We both thoroughly enjoyed our time there. “Our family had a wonderful stay at East Bay Cottage. The house was immaculately clean and tidy and a real home from home. Everything was there that we would have needed. Lovely walk to the beach and along into Filey. We drank in the John Paul Jones a couple of times, which was pleasant. We celebrated my Birthday on our weekend stay, which was lovely to have all my family accommodated. Thank you Anchor Bay Holidays.”

“We visited the tui Pontefract store for some ideas for a wedding package abroad for me and my fiancé and we wasn’t disappointed. We was looking at the brochures and had no clue what would be the best package was for us. “Love living at the Headline. There are very nice communal areas and also fun events they put on for the residents (coaster making workshop, macrame workshop, summer and xmas parties, etc). Amazing and friendly staff too - Corinne, Coren, Joe and George. They are always willing to help and make you feel safe and comfortable living there.”
