“My friend recommended here for a Full English breakfast as I've been living abroad for many years. We visited quite late so the breakfast had technically ended and they had ran out of bacon but the lovely lady said she would pop to the shop to get some just so she could make the full breakfast and it was definitely worth it. “Fantastic is the word I would use to describe your fresh flowers my wife received for her baby sitting exploits, it's great to see cut flowers of such quality and diversity arranged in a container with a span across the top the size of a dustbin lid, it's very sad these days at the demise of florist once the mainstay of our high streets but im glad to see you are still flying the flag,also of great interest to me is what the Dutch are doing and great their quality is. Keep on doing what you and your arrangers do best we will keep buying from you.”

“Firstly, I must point out that my partner and I did not dine at the Caravelli but stayed in the hotel however I did see and smell the food and it looked, delicious! We used this as a base for the night as I had to travel back to visit my father who had been very unwell. Whilst we were there, I found out that shortly after visiting him, he passed away… whilst trying to process everything that had happened, I popped downstairs for a drink to calm my mind and the front of house staff knew that I had received bad news. They were so kind and supportive towards me, I was most grateful and very touched. Our suite was beautiful, large, spacious and clean with tasteful decor. The bed was huge and very comfortable and it helped me to get the rest I so desperately needed. Thank you again so much. We will be back next year in different circumstances to stay and dine.. “This was our 1st visit to The Chandler Arms and it won’t certainly be the last. The Sunday roast was delicious with a good variety of vegetables and a very tasty Yorkshire pudding. I had the ginger sponge with custard for my dessert, it was amazing. The whole meal was very reasonably priced and was delicious. The service and atmosphere was fantastic, I highly recommend this village pub.”

“Called in on a Friday lunch time after recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed. Lovely little old fashioned pub with friendly and welcoming staff. We had a sandwich each, wife had prawn and I had beef and stilton, on brown bread. Both delicious and will certainly be having again. Just a bit of info for those wanting to eat here, food only served Wednesday to Saturday, 12 00 to 14 00.”

“Great service! We didn’t know that they were only open for lunch 12-2:00pm but they were kind enough to seat us despite arriving 20mins after closing.
