Sushi restaurant in Leicester

“I have been here several times when I was in an old shop. It is a very good Japanese sushi ramen fish and rice restaurant. The fish provided in the restaurant is very fresh. If you like it cooked, it also has different ramen and set meals. Friends who like sushi can try its sushi set. Personally, I think the price/performance ratio is very good. Finally, I would like to remind everyone that when you come to help for the second time, there will be a hidden menu to choose from.”

“The roast pork bento (rice box) was nicely done. The pork was succulent and the Japanese rice was cooked al dente, the way it should be cooked..though the pork is a bit too sweet. Also a few more pieces of broccoli will be lovely.”

“We came here after a huge mess around at another restaurant close by. The staff were so much more welcoming and quickly booked us in for a table which was due to be 20 minutes after arriving. We asked if we could come back and they agreed. We came back in time for our table and they sat us down. The service was very good. The staff were all attentive and smiley! The service was very fast considering how packed they were! The food was absolutely brilliant and we were all very happy with what we got! The portion sizes are very good also! Definitely give Zizi a try! The only downside is it can be abit noisy but the food and service most definitely outweighs this!”

“The sashimi tasted SO fresh, and the pieces were pretty decently sized. The soba noodles were perfectly cooked and the soup was absolutely delicious. All the food was fantastic, and crazy cheap! The atmosphere is great too, very warm and relaxing, perfect after a long day. Great for solo diners.”

“Superb in every way you can imagine. My duck ramen was totally delicious, deep savoury broth, perfectly cooked noodles & a generous portion of succulent, crispy duck breast. I have no plans to move to Leicester but if I did this little restaurant location would definitely be a factor & I can't praise the place highly enough. 10/10”

“The food here is absolutely amazing – a solid 10/10! Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, engaging, and super nice, which made the whole experience even better. I also loved the touch of K-pop playing in the background – it really added to the atmosphere. It’s a shame that Korean cuisine isn’t as popular in the UK as it should be, but I truly hope this restaurant does well because they absolutely deserve it. Highly recommended! 감사합니다”

“Update in Aug 2019 Been here quite a few times now and the food standard is still keeping it up and we almost tried the whole menu. Chinese Dim Sum still my favourite and the sashimi/sushi is also delicious, fresh and descent price. Staffs are friendly and they even kept my hoodie which I had left here 4-5 months ago :) ************************** previous review Decent food and very nice atmosphere... A lot to choose from but we mainly stick with dim sum that evening... friend staff and food was quick. Could be quite busy at night but there are plenty of seats and you could sit at the bar side too.”

“A small hotel in a quiet country location. Great customer service from Chris who made me feel welcomed and at ease when I arrived. Room was perfect for my needs and it was lovely that one of the cleaners called Pauline offered me room service in the morning as I wasn't expecting it. A very nice place to stay if you're in need of some peace and quiet.”

“I came in to do a food review for my college assignment and the first thing, the staff were very kind - very good customer service and offered to help and recommended me what food to pick and order. The food didn't disappoint, it was hot and packed with flavour. The noodles were steaming hot yet the broth was light and delicious it was a really big portion but the aroma was extremely mouth watering. The green tea was light and had an earthy flavour which paired really well with the daifuku - it was sweet, chewy and had a really good filling. Overall it was a really good experience since it was the first time I came to do a food review and also the first time I came by myself to a restaurant. I hope to come again and try different dishes :)”

“Alex and Jack were absolutely brilliant, we were a large group of 11 rowdy car enthusiasts (The Forgotten Car Club) who turned up last minute to enjoy some good food! The two servers were dealing with a handful but kept us tame and fed in good time and with smiles all around. These guys deserve a commendation!”

“I only came here to bare witnesses to the nostalgic value this iconic venue beholds. After spending around £75 great British pound sterling every pound enabled the childhood memories. You ask why spend so much money in a such decrepit place? Honestly the atmosphere was utterly ghastly, however fitted right into the October Halloween vibe. Nethertheless the answer to my question… nostalgia. I couldn’t have asked for more. It’s a Pizza Hut so expect the occasional sweat corn in the carrot, ice cream factory running out cream and making an obnoxious humping sound but this is utterly trivial. To conclude the matter I would struggle rating it anything other than 5 stars. This establishment is all you could want and brings tears to the eyes when one goes here to celebrate one’s birthday. Stay strong Pizza Hut may my blessings stop another tragic demise of the inner child. ❤️ (seriously the price is a tad high)”

“Very nice restaurant in Leicester town, with seating inside and outside. The service was fast and our waiter was very friendly and polite. One nice thing about this restaurant is you can customise your own pizza, and although there are one or two vegetarian options, it gives you more choice to add plant based meat too. The pizzas were large and tasted nice, they're not amazing but for the price, service and size, they're very nice and I have no complaints. There is a bar and they serve cocktails and mocktails.”

“Have been coming to Yo Sushi for years, always rate the food quality at their Leicester store. Staff are friendly and food comes fast. Recently brought back random food on the conveyor belts which enhances the experience. Yo Sushi is on the expensive side however being able to have several smaller plates of different dishes is amazing. Would recommend for special events/every now and then.”
