“Its a lovely little farm to visit with family, if you take a pushchair like I did your able to get around it quite easy the paths are easy to push on and big enough for a wheelchair as well. The cafe is nice nd decent price for things too. There is also a park within the farm to have a sit down with benches so we had our lunch there whilst the kiddies played before having something to eat as well. You can also purchase feed when getting paying to get in which was a pound I believe to feed to the animals as you go around all in all its a nice experience to have with the kids for cheap too”
“Great for all ages, good price, wide variety of farm animals, fun play park!”
“This is a very quiet Lake to the South of Watermead Park, to give wildlife peace and seclusion. It generally is not easily accessible, but there are several 'Hides' when you can watch the wildlife without causing any disturbance. Renamed August 2018 from Eco Lake to Nature Lake.”
“I stayed here with my partner for two nights at attend a nearby event. Upon arriving i loved the little chalet type rooms. The car park was roomy and i was able to park right outside the door which was lovely as i don't like my car out of sight in an unknown place due to anxiety. Room was lovely and clean but heating was left on and was too hot. Turned off the radiator and opened one window at the front but the smaller window at the back of the room was welded ajar and wouldnt open further or close which i found a bit strange. The bed was lovely but i like a higher pillow which we only found on top of the cupboard on the second night. The bed could have been bigger as i have a superking at home so it felt very 'cosy' which would be uncomfortable in the summer. A fan to cool down the room would be a lovely addition as it was too hot to sleep, i like to sleep in a cool room. It was quiet and peaceful apart from animals on the roof early morning which we didnt mind. The tv had plenty of channels and the tea making facilities were good apart from only having two teabags between the both of us for two nights. No coffee at all. We were lucky we came with extra tea bags, milk and sugar. The room was big enough for all our luggage and room to still move about. Plenty of handwash and shower gel to use which was lovely. The toilet paper was quite rough on sensitive skin though. Housekeeping knocked on the door on sunday morning but we didn't need anything further as the room was still lovely and clean. The reading lights by the bed were lovely and i was able to have my side on to read while my partner slept. The carpets were lovely and clean also. We didn't dine at the pub as we were too late back to order food but there were plenty of ubereat deliveries to choose from which we had instead. I would definitely stay here again if i'm in the area.”
