“If you're after a fun event space that oozes character, then try Alexander's Live. We're local to Chester so we were already familiar with the venue from our visits to their weekly Comedy Club (they're excellent too!) and decided that we wanted to host our wedding there. Our conversations were with Jamie, the venue's owner, who was faultless in his accommodation of our needs and wants for the big day. I was so pleased to hear that I could hang my homemade bunting up! We found him to be openminded and responsive— just what you want when you're organising any event! Jamie coordinated well with our other vendors too, ensuring they had all the information they needed to get set up for the day. The same can be said for all the staff at Alexander's Live. They gave impeccable service on the day - in fact, we can't praise them enough, they were such a dream: attentive, accommodating and pleasant. “Attended a Daniel Kitson gig today. Practicals: easy to get to and ample free parking. 5 mins walk from train station it seems (met Daniel on his way from the station !) So why 5 stars? The staff. Simply lovely people who not only were personable but wanted to chat and were so proud of their venue and town. Went to the bar to buy water and even the barman said "you know there is a water fountain over there?" I decided to buy just to support them. Will keep a look out for events here simply cos of the lovely staff.”

“My time with Abbey has been so good I’ve decided to extend another year. The house is really well maintained and they have been very responsive when any faults did crop up. Helen, Kaci and Sonia were all fab to deal with in the office. Overall couldn’t recommend enough, and I have made sure my cousin coming to Chester will use them too!”

“My daughter’s been going to Theatre on Foot for 6 months and has just performed her first show. She absolutely loves going to rehearsals, the group is fun and friendly, Kane and Deana are wonderful and so encouraging, and the show was a great experience!”

“Having just moved into this house (March 2025) we had no home entertainment installed and three wall mounted TVs that were attached to nothing but the aerial. Found Tony on a Google search and he can round the same day. He reviewed the tech that had been left in the house including downstairs ceiling speakers. He got the three TVs working and came back to sort out the new WiFi and virgin media equipment. All this was extremely helpful when we were distracted with other things but what really blew us away was that we needed three Sonos amps if we wanted the ceiling speakers to work. Tony searched eBay over several days and sourced three pre-owned amps at a price less than a single new one. We are now enjoying hassle free home entertainment at a fraction of the cost. Tony really knew what he was talking about. He was always prompt, reliable and respectful in our home. His costs were fair and reasonable. I wouldn’t hesitate calling Tony or recommending him.”

“We were so unbelievably happy with the service provided by Victor and Seda on our wedding day. They were both friendly and professional and captured all the important details as well as some of the little things you forget about, we knew we could trust them to do an amazing job. They supported us not only on the day itself but have been great and responsive throughout our journey. “My daughter has been attending Theatretrain Mold for just over a year. She is part of the Minis class and she loves it. Claire and Charlotte are wonderful teachers and she adores them. My daughter has made some lovely friends too. Steve is fantastic with communication and the whole operation is so well organised. Nothing is too much trouble for Steve and he even dropped off extra show outfits at my house when i was struggling to get something to fit my daughter. I am really impressed with the company and I feel my daughter is well looked after when she's at her classes. The school has just performed Annie at William Aston Hall and the production was brilliant. So much effort went in to the show and the children did Theatretrain proud. I would highly recommend this company.”

“My 5 year old daughter, who is autistic, goes to a dance class for autistic children on a Friday at Immense, and she absolutely loves it, she gets so excited about coming, Liam and lyndsey are amazing teachers, they are fantastic with all the kids and parents, my little girls confidence has come on leaps and bounds and that's all thanks to Liam, lyndsey and also Sarde who helps with the class too, if I could give more stars I would, I would definitely recommend Immense dance school to anyone, we look forward to Fridays coming here.
